Went to a wedding here and stayed overnight. Wedding: bar service was a little slow with often only 1 person on the bar, and the room next to the bar a little crowded, however the garden room where we dined was well laid out, food was nice and staff helpful. Room and service: were excellent. Spacious room, rather too warm...

Saw an article about The Alma Inn in a local magazine so whilst we were having a trip to Boundry Mill we thought we'd visit for lunch. We both had a pasta dish and it was delicious, served piping hot with garlic bread. Followed by the assists which was very nice and coffee. Fast, efficient, polite service and lovely surroundings,...

We stopped here for lunch, after being recommend by friends on the last Saturday of May..This is a real nice place in a lovely setting. Both my wife and I had starters, scotch egg & smoked salmon, followed by two roast dinners which were great. We dined al-fresco as it was a lovely sunny day and the waiting staff were...

A lovely property, full of character. Newly decorated and very clean and tidy. Wonderful views over the countryside and the courtyard is pretty with many colourful hanging baskets. There are comfortable seating areas inside with cosy sofas and pleasant decoration. Friendly staff, chatty and welcoming. Food was very good both the evening meal and breakfast. We only stayed only one...

They get under 18's to serve you on the bar, also work long hours with no break or anything too eat. Was disappointed hearing this so a group of us decided to eat else where. Think all this is not acceptable

I stayed here for the third time whilst visiting family in the area and will be back many times in the future. The location is beautiful and convenient (easy access to local towns by car or great walks right from your doorstep) and the facilities are high quality: I had a beautiful room, rain shower and Molton Brown toiletries. All...

Enjoyed a lovely birthday meal here in June 2016. The menu was exceptional with so much choice, enough to suit everyone in our party of 6. The beautifully decorated conservatory is so lovely to enjoy a meal in. I requested the conservatory opposed to the traditional bar area which was accommodated. The staff were very attentive and could not do...

We stayed at the Alma Inn as we were attending a wedding there. Out room, although small was of very high quality. I particularly liked the bathrobes and molten brown products. As someone with long hair finding a hairdryer with some power to it was a serious perk! Breakfast was also excellent and the staff throughout were incredibly welcoming and...

From the minute you check in you are greeted with smiley, friendly staff. Our room was spotless with a very comfy bed, large well equipped bathroom. We had a meal in the dining room which was excellent as usual. The bar staff were friendly and efficient. Lovely comfortable sitting areas with a definite old worlde country pub feel. Wish we...

This is probably one of the best venues I have ever stayed in. The bedrooms were impeccable and recently renovated. Maintaining old charms with gorgeous beams and stone Windows with lovely views of the fields and hills. Fantastic beds and duvet covers. Bathrooms were prisine with Molton Brown soaps. The staff were so kind and helpful. The hot breakfasts were...
