My wife and I have been going to Eastfield Lodge for some years now. Perfectly located in the Dales for walking, but also just right for a very short stroll into the town for refreshments. Room 2 is absolutely lovely, a nice size with a terrific bed. The views are just a joy. As I feared, despite the walking I...

I only stayed here for one night but I would stay here again - the welcome was great (there is even home made cake) and the hosts are knowledgeable about the local area. The building has been sympathetically converted so the bedroom was lovely and the ensuite was huge. Breakfast was lovely and bringing extra tea and toast was no...

I got a lovely welcome from my hosts Penny and Henry. The fire was lit and coffee and homemade cake was offered, I was impressed because I prefer decaf filter coffee and they had it, a first from any hotel I have stayed in. The room was lovely with views of Leyburn and the hills. The breakfast was fabulous, again...

This is the third time a group of us have stayed at Eastfield Lodge and I can honestly say that it's one of the best (if not the best) B & Bs I've ever stayed in. The rooms are all lovely and spacious and very nicely decorated with en suites. Henry and Penny are the perfect hosts. They can't do...

Spent one night with Henry and Penny at Eastfield Lodge on friday 10th March of this year. A warm and informal welcome from them helped us ease into our weekend. The room was lovely and overlooked the dales toward East Witton and Middleham; the mists of march were there but not impenetrable. Lovely comfortable room, excellent guest facilities with the...

We hired Eastfield Lodge exclusively to host a reunion walking weekend. It proved to be the perfect base. 8 ensuite bedrooms, a cosy lounge with log burning stove. Everybody was delighted with their rooms. A '5' star breakfast was served each morning in the dining room. Just what you need to set you up for the day. Penny assisted us...

We were lucky enough to secure Eastfield Lodge for an exclusive rental over Christmas, and what a Christmas it was. The house is large enough to accommodate the largest of families, the decor and fittings are just perfect - stylish and formal enough for it to feel like a tray, but not so formal or antique that you spend a...

Stayed here with a mate as a base for a walking holiday in the Dales. Place very easy to find, with good parking and access to Leyburn town on foot, only 2 minutes away. Room was spotlessly clean, beds and bedding superb, very good sleep each night. Weather was mixed, we got drenched twice, so the drying room for boots,...

Been in a lot of hotels over the years some with our kids but I must say the welcome we received at the Eastfield Lodge was outstanding. The room was so clean and the bed was so comfortable. Loved the homemade cake you have with your tea or coffee. The breakfast again so warm and welcoming and very cosy, the...
