Great location Great accommodation Great food Great folk Best value around. We have stayed many times over the years and have always enjoyed ourselves. We love The Marton Arms, and again it has lived up to previous visits. Comfy and quiet toom. Free wifi. Plentiful and tasty breakfast. Good choice of real ales and hearty meals. We will return.

Lovely ancient pub good selection of ales service good . Definitely a pub that welcomes dogs. When we arrived there were 2 running free plus 3 others with guests. We chose a table away from the bar to have a quiet chat and a drink the dogs followed and were really annoying no effort was made to move them. Decided...

The Marton Arms is a lovely quite relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings opposite a lovely church in easy reach of Ingleton Falls and not far from Mallam Cove. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at the Marton Arms for one night with a friend. I was apprehensive having read some of the reviews and was delighted to find a welcoming pub and b&b. The manager was very accommodating to our needs and the room was comfortable and clean. The food was delicious with fantastic portion sizes. This is a relaxed and laid...

Came here a few weeks ago as we wanted to do the waterfall walk. Arrived before check in so decided to grab a bite to eat before we set off for our walk. Me and my partner shared a sandwich and some chips. Yummy. Fresh food with a decent price tag! Room was lovely and clean. Great that they allowed...

In a lovely position on the south-western edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Thornton is tiny but very close to Ingleton. The church is right opposite the pub and views are of fells and sheep and dry stone walls. The welcome was OK - I'd got very good value on Booking.com at £50 bed only. The decor and carpets are a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are a traditional Country Inn located 3/4 of a mile from Ingleton and just 6 miles away from Kirkby Lonsdale. We have 10 guest bedrooms, two of which have four poster beds, one twin bedroom and one family bedroom, the rest are double bedrooms. We are ideally located for the those doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks or visiting the White Scar Caves and Ingleton Waterfalls. All of our food is prepared freshly on site to order and we use locally sourced suppliers. For those Ale drinkers we have 8 Cask Ale hand pulls, which during the busy season we try and have all 8 on. During the quieter months this is not always possible. For those winter months we have two roaring log burning stoves in the bar and for the Summer months we have two lovely beer gardens, one out the front of the hotel looking over St Oswalds Church and one out the back looking over open fields. ... more   less
