Lovely venue set in beautiful country side. It's very relaxing and quiet with peacocks strutting around. If you are looking for somewhere different with a homely feel I would recommend Banwell. This is a family home offering Bed & Breakfast in delightful surroundings. Our room and bed suited all our needs and was comfortable with ensure bathroom.? My niece had...

This was one of many visits over the years to the castle and as always William is the perfect host. The peace and quiet and relaxing atmosphere are why we go. This stay was just over night but the care and attention never changes. The best cream teas with real homemade scones are a delight . It is an old...

Absolute lovely place to stay. Just remember it is a very old Castle and don't expect a totally airtight squeaky clean park Lane Hotel. That said we would far prefer the atmosphere in this Castle to any of the squeaky clean regimented establishments. We even brought our elderly friends from Weston on a previous visit for an evening meal laid...

The building and grounds are tired and need maintaining. The room we stayed in, number 10, could do with redecorating. The ensuite did have a particular...

There is something quite nostalgic having a cream tea at Banwell Castle. Beautiful views, and children love exploring the grounds and seeing the peacocks! Reasonably priced cream teas with big pot of tea and large fresh homemade scones with clotted cream and jam is yummy. A few years ago had my sons Naming Day at Banwell Castle which was amazing...

It's the second time I've stayed here and we always love it. The castle has so much character and we are always warmly welcomed by the owner. Breakfast is good and the views are stunning from almost every area of the castle. My two young boys 4&5 absolutely loved this place and can't wait to go back

It was my second visit to Banwell Castle recently. First time round i fell in love with the place, and i did the second time round too. It's very medieval, old fashioned decor but this adds to the charm, peacocks roam the vast fields around the grounds, it's very picturesque. They also do a lovely breakfast. We will most definitely...

As a family we always go to Banwell Castle for a cream tea. We all think it is the best value tea in the area. In addition the setting is excellent with views down over towards Winscombe. In addition there is the lovely attraction of peacocks wandering around the grounds.
