When looking for the car park at the back of the hotel, the entrance is off Bank Street, on your right as you come from the High Street. Stopped off on the way home from Scotland. The staff on the reception were friendly & help full. The looked clean, with the double bed with one side against the wall. The...

Rather dated hotel, needing some upgrading! Staff can be quite hard to find and some were friendlier than others. Room was spacious, clean and a comfortable bed, but very hot! No hair drier, no bottle of water; toiletries were basic. Large bathroom, again clean but needing updating. Shower nice ant hot but too low down on wall (and I'm not...

Reasonable priced room with everything one required. Not sure about the brass band practicing in the room next door but pleasant to listen whilst having your shower. Cant beat a bit of brass when staying away from home. Good for local amenities including the local museum and local pubs/restaurants.

Stayed for just under a week. I was very impressed by our evening meals, breakfast was the standard affair and the hotel made us packed lunches on request. The service was friendly and there was ample parking. The room and hotel itself was what I expected from a town centre hotel. Not modern and perfect but a hotel with character....

although small, our room was clean & welcoming. The staff were rushed off their feet with Christmas groups having dinner, but still gave us -& our dog - all the attention we could want. The food was simple, but really tasty. Great salad. Breakfast was also really good. Thanks guys!

Don't think bath had been cleaned as the hairs around it weren't mine. Dead flies around bathroom window. Two dead ones on floor. Toothpaste...

We stayed here for three nights recently while visiting Annan for a family event. Room 23 was adequate. Clean and good bed linen etc but the ensuite was in need of renovation. There was a plentiful supply of hot drinks to make. The hotel is large, rambling and creaky as you would expect from such an old building but the...
