This spot is in a good location for visiting Wester Ross. The hotel is ok, a bit outdated. Room was good had a sitting area as well. Breakfast was fine. Had dinner here 1st night and it was average. Higher in cost than other similar hotels. However, not too much in the way of competition. The pub was interesting as...

I did the north coast 500 and this was my final stop. It was the most expensive place I stayed in but also the worst. The room was ugly and smelt funny, the bed was uncomfortable. The food was reasonable at best. Disappointed that at no point did the owner ask how my stay was when I checked out. She...

Not the best looking hotel ever, bit tired and could do with a makeover. Bathroom was tight and shower blows hot and cold and the fan in the board ceiling sounds like a hovercraft taking off. The place dates from 1800 and we were in the old bit. However, DO NOT BE PUT OFF, decor is just a view and...

we arrived late evening on the off chance of two rooms. We were in luck, the rooms look a bit tired and could do with jollying up but this is compensated by the friendly owners and staff. We ate in the restaurant where I had the best scallops I have had. My friends and husband also had lovely food. Would stay here...

This is not a flash luxurious hotel but by far the friendliest welcoming hotel/B&B in the area... it appeared that the mainstay of residents were workers from out of town.... and now promoting the NC500 motorcycle tour circling Scotland.... Real Ale... good food, basic rooms at basic prices.... perfect for us!....

The recipe for good food is love. Sadly there was none evident in the food served here. As mentioned in previous reviews the location is perfect . However the restaurant and food is not . Made up for in part by the service . Haddock fish cakes not homemade Beef and ale pie .. Pastry as hard as a slate...

We have been here a couple of times for a drink, this time we booked a room. The room is ok but nothing special, the great thing is the atmosphere and the people, very friendly and lots of people travelling like ourselves. We did have some food, yes fantastic local food.

Went to the Lochcarron Hotel for drinks and food when we stayed in the area. A very human friendly and dog friendly hotel. The hotel was very busy when we visited, people looking for accommodation being turned away and bookings being taken for July 2017!! A decent pint of ale and some lovely venison steaks. A nice evening chatting to...

As there was no other accommodation available we were forced to use this hotel. Place could only be described as grotty, not even a hair dryer in the room. Shower was pathetic and beds very uncomfortable. When we said at reception that we were unhappy staff member was uninterested. We were charged £90 for the room, certainly not value for...
