It is worth getting directions before reaching Lochcarron as we found mobile phone internet reception patchy and very slow to download maps onto our mobile. Once we found The Sithean we had a very warm welcome from Lorna who kindly served us home made cake with tea in the lounge overlooking the loch. The Sithean is very quiet with lovely...

This was our 2nd time staying at The Sithean and we weren't disappointed. Same wonderful welcome, rooms still immaculate and breakfast excellent. The views from the dining room, lounge and bedroom (we stayed at the front of the house overlooking the loch) are superb.

This is the perfect Bed and Breakfast! We received a lovely welcome from Lorna and were invited into the lounge for tea, coffee and home baking, what a great touch. The house is spotless and well appointed with a homely feel. This is a must if visiting Lochcarron.

I was a little hesitant in booking the Sithean mostly due to the somewhat remote location. But I am sure glad we did. Lorna made everything perfect for our stay. Her home is welcoming and immaculate. The views down Loch Carron are amazing. We explored Wester Ross up to Inverewe gardens from here quite comfortably. If you plan to be...

We stayed with Lorna and Ken and couldn't have had a more pleasant stay. First class accommodation where there is attention to detail. Excellent breakfast with an extensive choice including the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. T.V in room but also in the rest room which looks out onto the loch. We were especially lucky to have had lovely weather...

We only stayed one night at The Sithean but it was magnificent. The view of the loch from our bedroom window was so calming and peaceful. We could also watch the antics of the newly born lambs in the paddock inbetween us and the loch. The Sithean itself was a clean, comfortable well organised B and B. We had no...

The Sithean is a wonderful B&B in a gorgeous location. The house itself is immaculately presented, with superbly appointed rooms overlooking well-tended gardens and fields. Breakfast time at The Sithean is a real treat, too - probably better than any 5* B&B I've stayed in. The owners are lovely and welcoming, but leave you to relax and enjoy your time...

We stayed at The Sithean for 4 nights in July 2014 and loved it! Lorna and Ken were so warm, welcoming and helpful. The Sithean is situated in the most peaceful, beautiful setting. The view which greeted us each breakfast time was over a sloping field in which sheep grazed down to the loch, and across to breathtaking mountains on...

This was an absolutely lovely B&B! Very friendly welcome by Lorna with tea or coffee and biscuits and cake. Felt as more than a B&B to us, as we were welcomed with tea or coffee and cake when we came back from our day out. Breakfast was excellent. Lovely bed, room and en-suite were very clean. Lovely view from our...

We enjoyed two wonderful nights at the Sithean. An ideal location to explore this special part of Scotland, the Sithean offers the best quality bed and breakfast accommodation we have experienced. An extremely comfy bed and very tasty omlette for breakfast were highlights. The beautiful aquarium with discus in the entrance hall was also very welcoming! Looking forward to returning.
