In February we did a long snowmobile trip and stayed at this B&B to rest. We felt at home from when we first walked in and were pampered until we left. The package included room, dinner and breakfast at a price that provided excellent value for the money. The meals were excellent but that be because Warwick has 30+ years... More

1 km of the b 10 trail....a remote and peaceful inn with great food and awesome service. Book early to get 1 of the 4 comfortable rooms....you won't regret it. My wife and friends and I will definitely be back next year.

It was lovely to meet you all and thanks so much for the kind words. I'm hoping your title is referring to our conversation about people being afraid to come in! You had me puzzled at first. Hope the sleds ran smoothly for your return trip. It did turn into a glorious day after that very chilly start. Looking forward... More

We stayed 2 nights at the "Inn" during the first part of our family trip to Ontario. I would hardly call the place simply an inn, as Nancy quickly made us feel like family. The rooms were clean and warm (we woke up to -29 degree fahrenheit temperatures outside!) The food was great and prepared fresh to order. We had... More

We were delighted to have you stay with us! Not very often to we get families who drive all the way from Pennsylvania in the winter! It is greatly appreciated by us in particular and Ontario in general. I wish more families would head north instead of south for their winter getaways. So glad you had a memorable holiday (adventure... More

We have stayed here a number of times and there is always clean rooms, helpful staff and fantastic meals. They are conveniently located just off the snowmobile trail and have great facilities for people doing the RAP tour. Their hot tub is just the thing after a long day of sledding.

Myself and 3 friends stayed at Fortune's Madawaska Valley Inn again this year during our annual snowmobile RAP tour on Jan 30th. We had a phenominal time, Nancy and Warwick were awesome hosts and took care of our every need. The food, accomodations and the Hot Tub were Top Notch as usual and I highly reccommend this as the best... More

Why thank you sir! How very very kind. We love looking after you and your buddies. You make our job easy. That was one frosty morning when you pulled out but what a gorgeous day!! I was thinking of how beautiful it would be in the bush and hoping your newbie rider enjoyed the slower bush route to Combermere. Enjoy... More

Fortune's Madawaska Valley Inn (Fortune's) is a cozy just-out-of-town BB, located with prompt access to Barry's Bay (about 1 mile away) via the highway or an old railway bed trail. The room (Hudson Bay) was tastefully appointed, warm and comfortable, even during extremely cold outdoor overnight temperatures. This older establishment is overall very tidy and clean and offers a pleasant... More

Thanks for your lovely review. We're really glad you enjoyed your stay. We have had many cold nights this winter for sure and Warwick keeps us all warm and toasty with "Betsy" our outdoor boiler. Chilly rooms are no fun when you have been on a sled all day! Thanks again and stay warm! More

Due to limited time we have only spent one night in this great location on our tour from Halifax to Ontario. It took only minutes to feel like staying at some friends' place.
