Beautiful place at the remote and quiet treasure beach. It has private access to the beach. The main gate and gate to the beach were provided with a lock, which gave us a secure feeling. Although this was not particular necessary since the atmasphere around treasure beach is very relaxed and safe. We stayed in a beautiful private hut with... More

extended business trip turned into a real Jamaica experience! Very nice beach side location. less tourist infrastructure nearby, but this was OK and I preferred it compared with other tourist locations on Jamaica. Had a nice trip to Floyd's pelican bar!

We found this place by happenstance and took a chance. Well it turned out to be a great decision. You know those picturesque photos of isolated beaches in a beautiful paradise with no other tourists, this is one of those places!! We could walk to a number of different restaurants nearby that were cheap and delicious. Simon, the owner/manager, is... More

Loved this place. If you are into cottages and rustic decor this is the place for you. The environs were well kept and the people were quite friendly. It was right by the beach which was lovely as i could hear the ocean waves while I slept. Very close to local shops and the famous Jakes and Jack Sprat!

The owner Moni and her staff were so friendly and treated us like family. When the first room we were in wasn't quite what we had expected ,Moni said, I know what you would really enjoy, and gave us her best room. That made our vacation! The scenery and landscaping is so beautiful and wonderfully relaxing. We could see and... More

I booked Katamah after reading reviews and checking ratings online. Once booking and paying IN FULL I was then advised breakfast was no longer available at the hotel, but there were lots of restaurants in the area. When we arrived, we could not access he property as there was no buzzer.. Although a sign saying press buzzer! Eventually we were... More

I am sorry & we did feel very badly that we didn't have any cold drinks at that time and that the buzzer wasn't working, unfortunately we did have a fire that took the kitchen less than 2 weeks before this guest stayed with us. Since then we have set up in-room fridges, and have 3 kitchenettes, garden dining area... More

Katamah is a literally the best place I've ever been too. I've been to Brazil, Portugal, Italy, Spain, the Dominican Republic and this by far is the best place I've had the honor of staying at! It's right by the beach and its the only place where you can actually swim safely! Talk about prime real-estate! The Cabins, Rooms and... More

On our Jamaica Journey we spend our Chrismas time 2015 at Katamah five days long. It is a very nice property face to face with the ocean. You can enjoy the sunset while you cool down with a red stripe. Our arrival was unfortunately a bit bleakly. there was a small hello by the cleaning ladies but no one who... More

This hotel was truly amazing. Although it was a short stay, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was true to the pictures on the website. The bed was so comfy and the room was clean. We did not miss having a TV as the whole feel of the hotel was relaxed almost like a retreat. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings including... More

Have you ever been so stressed out from work, you just wished you could go to an island away from everything? Well, you may not be away from everyone, but this is definitely the place. “The best room is the upstairs suite which had a porch with a hammock, a bar, and a futon. You can see the ocean from the porch.”

“there are three different kinds of accomodations. we stayed in one of tow wooden beach cabins. they are practical and very close to the ocean so that you can here the sea breath while you stay in bed. mosquito protection over bedarea was unfortunately missing and the protection at the window was damaged so that we were itched like hell. some steps beyond there is a house with holliday flats with a nice garden infront. the best idea is to choose on of two big tents to spend your night there and of course the cheapest one. in comparison we felt that the beach cabin (just a wooden box with a bed, no bath, no cupboard, not water, no mosquito protection) was with 120 $ per night too expensive. On our further experience on Jamaica we were lucky to meet accomondations with better performance and more hospitality.”
