We've just returned from a 3 night stay and were thrilled with the quality of the accommodation, the very helpful manager, Kelly, and the very convenient location 5 minutes drive from Girraween National Park. Everyone needs to know about this super high quality lodge ( there are 9 two bedroom lodges spread amongst the trees ) situated on 400 acres.... More

Our bushwalking group arranged for a mid-week two-night stay at Girraween Environmental Lodge. We were impressed by the attractive bush setting, the simple but comfortable but accommodation which included two bedrooms, large bathroom with shower and spa bath, kitchen with basic equipment, lounge room with fireplace, covered deck and covered carport. There are short walks on the property where you... More

Two nights were not enough to enjoy the wonderful accommodation at Girraween. Our lodge was beautiful, well-appointed and ultra warm thanks to the lovely wood fire! Beautiful staff too - went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We will be back!

This place is truly special. The first brilliant thing about it is there is no mobile phone, internet or TV. You have to talk to the people you go with or watch DVDs or play games or read or walk (fabulous bush walks from the door) or, in summer, swim! It is so restful. Wake up in the morning, put... More

We stayed at the Girraween Environmental Lodge last week having booked about three months in advance. We had a great time there and would definitely go again. The lodge is easy to find driving along Pyramids Rd, it's just a few kilometres past the chocolate shop. If you reach the National Park you've gone too far. Kel and her dog... More

I simply LOVE this place. Ten chalets nestled into a beautiful natural setting, very private and extremely quiet and peaceful. There are many wonderful, signposted walks throughout the vast property which take you through forest, fern gardens, rockpools and large granite outcrops (I was so surprised at the number of walks, and also their quality). The accomodation is excellent, without... More

The lodge we stayed in was fantastic. Comfortable king size bed, spa, log fire, kitchenette. Lots of walks to do on the property which have fantastic views. 5 minute drive to the Girraween National Park for more bush walking trails. There is no phone service or WIFI. The main house has many books and DVDs that patrons can borrow.

Our family love this place. We have been there each and every year for approximately 17 years. Our children have loved it all of those years and now we take our grandchildren as well. Kelly who runs the place is very friendly and helpful and a great asset. We love all of the walks around the area and on the... More

As the title suggests, if your visit to the Granite Belt is all about the Girraween National Park, and you don't want to camp right in the park, then this is the spot for you. Glamp it up right outside the park in the most comfortable of surroundings with everything laid on. The Environmental Lodge is located a short (less... More
