We have just returned form a weekend stay at Heron Hill. Just absolutely gorgeous. Every comfort has been thought of and house is stunning. There is even a 'house' mobile to use in case yours has no reception! The onsite facilities are really good and we enjoyed the pool, the gym, the playground, the trampoline and the games room. Plus...

Thank you, Claire, for your compliments. The bar is being raised ever higher in our industry so we have to keep on trying to improve. I'm very pleased that you enjoyed your stay, we are pretty handy for you. Also agree with you about the College Valley, although we are spoilt for choice in the Cheviots, each valley has its...

We have stayed in cottages all round Northumberland, one set in particular several times near Bamburgh. Theres now a new place to stay! Peter was very welcoming, and the honey in the welcome pack is fantastic! The gym and pool, plus outdoor facilities were clean and well maintained, theres something for everyone. Having a log fire was a bonus, particularly...

I have just returned from a long weekend with 3 friends. We stayed in the night fold cottage which was lovely and spacious and warm. The log fire was definitely the best thing. We had a small welcome package with eggs, bread, honey and wine which was a nice gesture. Some of my friends used the pool and spa and...

we stayed for a week at the tail end of the summer. The location is a bit off the beaten track, so a fair amount of 30 minute drives. But within 30 minutes there are a huge amount of things to do, and the quite (and the night skies) benefit. What really sold it to us though was the really...

We just spent a week here and had a great holiday. The cottage (Coally Law) was comfortable, clean and well equipped in a great location and very peaceful. We enjoyed the pool, sauna, tennis court and games room. We had many day trips out to Alnwick, Holy Island, Dunstanburgh, Farne Islands etc. all easily accessible. Highly recommend for a family...

This was a fabulous family holiday within a lovely area. The owners seem to have thought of everything with these very generous comfortable cottages. Kids loved the sports facilities and games barn. We explored the local are and beaches on bikes, walk round the lake and looking forward to returning. The whole ethos appeared to be to provide the perfect holiday...

We've holidayed in Northumberland before but this was our first time at Breamish Valley. We stayed at Miller's Hill, which is a larger cottage set away from the main site (which really suited us). We enjoyed fields of sheep, hares in the garden, and spectacular views of the bad weather coming across the hills! The cottage is really spacious but...

We took our three year old and we all loved it. A lake down the path, swimming pool where we swam on our own, gym if you wanted it, tennis court, play area and games room. All really peaceful and you hardly saw another another person. The property we had was amazing and luxury for a fabulous family break. Will...

This is a lovely place to stay. We were blessed with great weather and this added to the beauty of this place. The cottage we stayed in was well furnished and very comfortable indeed. There is plenty to see and do in this part of Northumberland and these cottages are perfect for doing this. There are plenty walks in the...
