Needs a serious revamp and the hygiene is very iffy. Great location, fine for a 1 night stop over. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us. Please use binoculars when wanting to watch the tv.

Friendly helpfull staff. Our room, Lambert, was spacious with a view of the harbour. The bathroom looks newly revamped and has a shower and big bath. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, hottest room ever, no ventilation or aircon. The room was spotless clean but hey, time to upgrade a little. I love the gin bar and cocktails were worth it. Breakfast the next morning was good but only instant Ricoffee...yug! Staff very lovely and made a good impression.

Good experience and value for your money. The chedamelt burger is devine. Friendly staff. I enjoy it more at the Hotel then the other restaurants in town. I can definitely recommend the hotel. Bar area can be made a little bit bigger perhaps.

We stayed for two nights on the way to Cape Town. The rooms are a bit old and need attention, but it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff really friendly and helpful. All in all it was an enjoyable two days.

Friendly, helpfull staff. They informed us on what to do in area. breakfast lovely, rooms clean, nothing to complain about. Enjoyed our stay. Close to everything. Beds comfortable. I enjoyed the "old-time" feel, brought back fond memories of childhood days staying in hotels.

This hotel has not changed in 10 years. The rooms are from Victorian times, the food is sometimes worse than average, the decor leaves A LOT to be desired. I would not recommend this experience. Its a very old hotel with good staff but the owners desperately need to renovate ASAP.

We decided to break our trip back from Namaqualand with a night at this hotel. We only made a reservation the day before we checked in but the lady (Michelle) who assisted us to make a booking was extremely friendly and efficient. When we pulled into the parking area in front of the hotel I feared that we had made...
