Mihingo Lodge was the most magical part of our entire trip. From the emails with Teddie while booking, to the friendliness of the staff and managers to first stepping into our rooms (we are a family of 6 with 4 kids ranging in age from 15-3, so we took up two tents)...it was all on point. The food was the...

This is the most magical hotel we've ever stayed at! We were warmly greeted upon arrival and walked up to reception where we saw the dining/lounge/pool area had an awesome view of the park and animals below. The welcome service was lovely and then we were led to our room, Lake Kacheera, where it only got better! The room is...

Wow, really enjoyed my stay at Mhingo Lodge. The lodge has stunning expansive views of Lake Mburo National Park, including a watering hole were the wildlife come to drink! Even from your shower and the toilet you get the same incredible views! It was a really pleasant place to stay, very quaint and relaxing, there's plenty of seating where you...

I recently visited some beautiful lodges in Uganda but Mihingo was by far my favourite. The staff were so warm and friendly, especially the mangers James and Tiggy who made me feel so welcome. The lodge offers a number of activities including bike rides, walks and horse rides all of which were fantastic! I couldn’t recommend this place more highly...

This place is situated on top of a large rock outcropping in the middle of Lake Mburo National Park. It has 1 restaurant that offers all your meals and rotates the menu options each day (call in advance for dietary restrictions and they'll accommodate). The staff is very friendly and accommodating - make the experience perfect. We stayed at lodge...

Main lodge overlooks a waterhole. The views from each lodge are stunning. Night time game drives available. Also as there are no lions in Mburo national Park you can go on walking game drives without a warden. There is an abundance of bird life, dwarf mongeese, zebra & many kinds of antelope. Food & service excellent.

We were warmly welcomed when we arrived at Mihingo Lodge. We were ushered into the main lodge as our bags were taken to our "cottage". We were offered juice and later lunch with our guide overlooking the pool in the shadows of Lake Mburo national park. The waterhole down the park, is another way to view wildlife as they come...

At Mihingo you can sit on the large boulders outside your canvas chalet watching the dawn splash golden light onto the surrounding bush and then high up in the viewing tower overlooking the waterhole as the sun goes down. Wherever you are at the lodge, you feel immersed in nature, the tree canopy shades wooden decks, and the natural pool...

Back from Gorilla tracking: we stopped for 2 nights in Mburo lake park: the park is beautiful and Mihingo lodge is marvelous. Nice rooms in the middle of the wooden savana, good food. The lodge is on a hill with a spectacular view.
