On the surface this place should be lovely: own beach, clean, modern accommodation; however our daily hello to staff is met with stoney, staring silence. This is the most pointedly unfriendly place I have EVER stayed in Thailand and this is my fourth visit to the country. On another note the general area seems to have had a surge of...

I didn't read the reviews of this place until after I checked in and finally found it online. WOW! People either love this place or they hate it, opinions are quite polarized. Having stayed there 7days I got a little insight to why people feel the way they do but my experience was more middle of the road leaning toward...

I have always revisited this little gem over the past 7 years traveling back to Thailand. The thing I like the most is the hospitality from tony and his crew.. The food is great and appreciated the diverse Thai and German options as you tend to get sick of eating Thai food when your over in Thailand for few months.....

Having practically been to all of the reasonable priced accommodation on the island, this one is the most clean and well maintained. The rooms were lovely and the food we had from the resteraunt was nice. Big bonus the beer was always super cold. We do agree though that customer service at times is lacking, but at least they are...

Went with my GF and sister. Ordered Gordon Bleu(250 bt), Pork Steak(250bt) with pepper sauce and Spaghetti Carbornara(190bt). Also ordered Garlic Bread. (90bt) The Gorden Bleu was actually quite good all though adding frozen fries to the dish don't make it worth the money. The Pork chop was about 5mm thick and pretty small added to the fact it was...

I stayed here for over a week in April 2013. I found the accommodation very nice and good value and the gardens between the bungalows are very pleasant, as is the small slightly shale beach. The restaurant is quite good too, although a bit pricier than other places on the island. On the other hand the staff are definitely in...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights earlier this month. We had spent 5 weeks sailing around the islands of the Koh Kut & Koh Chang and needed a couple of nights on land after my husband injured his back. We had eaten at the restaurant with friends in January and we were delighted then with just a...

We stayed in a 950 baht bungalow, not impressed at all. We only stayed here until we could find another place. All I can presume is that the glowing review on this site might be by a friend of theirs, as it is completely inaccurate. I was tricked into staying here by that review, but I would strongly recommend against...

I would like to clarify a few things if I may with regards to my review of Baan Pra Kai Kaew. If you look at my other reviews you will see I generally give out good comments, Im not in the habit of bagging an establishment just for the sake of it. If I do give negative comments, as in...

“The newer rooms near the water seem to be the nicer and cleaner rooms. Room across the road up on the hill are perhaps not as nice/clean.”
