We were upgraded to a garden vila with pool but did not use, area covered in ants and the beach close which was excellent. Amenities in the room good but quite dark. Very poor quality toiletries appeared cheap and cutting corners for a five star...More
We stayed there for two days. We had a great time. Actually, we are wondering to give it five stars or four stars rate. This hotel has lots of good points. However, there are some points that we would like the Management to improve.
From our arrival until we had to leave. It was an astonishing experience and pure pleasure. The rooms are well equipped with everything you need, although the "jungle-and-beach-villa-feeling" remains.
Each member of staff did a great job with utmost friendlyness, to make every day a...More

Hi Paul, We have been to Paradee 5 times in the last 3 years and absolutely love it. Yes the location is secluded but not isolated. However there is a cost to getting out and about. Koh Samet is a car-less island with the exception of the Taxi's. When I say Taxi's what I mean is Pick Up Trucks painted green with a bench in the back. Its all good though. It will cost you 1000baht from the resort into town, where the driver will wait for you to then take you back when you are ready. When I say town I do of course mean the ONE street town. You will pass a number of places you could stop and also eat and drink on your way to town. You can of course hire a scooter but we have never done this. My advice.... book this place, it is not cheap but trust me you wont be disappointed. Hope this helps
Yes the Ferry from Pattaya / Hua Hin is the way to go, sit back and relax. Need a private car transfer from the mainland. The speed boat from the island can be booked privately to ensure you make the Ferry.
