I have stayed here in 2016 and 2017 ski seasons. The hotel is well placed, about a 8 min walk from the town centre, and has good facilities. It isn't that typical of Austrian ski hotels. One advantage is the number of single rooms available - good for solo travellers. The major eating option is a buffet with the option...

The Palace hotel is well situated in Bad Hofgastein. You can walk across park to main lift or ski bus stop right outside. Super food, large comfortable rooms, nice pool and spa area. Would come again apart from problem with hoards of 10 year old Swedish kids sprinting up and down corridors shouting until 10pm each night. They are obviously...

Went for a week's skiing with Crystal Ski. First time in Austria and we had picked this hotel as it was well situated in the resort. It is a 4 star year round hotel, well maintained and run, and was a great location in the spa town of Badhofgastein. Food was fine for breakfast with a very wide selection of...

On arrival at the Johannesbad Hotel Palace I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room which was quite spacious by Austrian standards. It was clean and nicely furnished. Previous reviewers have complained that the rooms were too warm, fair comment, so I turned the radiator down. It's really not that difficult! I enjoyed the spa every evening after...

Like others we stayed here with Ski Club of GB. The hotel is old and the facilities tired. The buffet breakfasts and dinners were average and somewhat formulaic and boring. The spa is Ok - nothing spectacular - and do remember you are in Austria so no clothes are allowed in the Saunas/Steam room etc. What really frustrated us was...

Just returned from a weeks skiing via crystal. Great room, food and wellness area. Ski bus right outside the hotel to take you to any of the villages to start a days skiing and drop you of at the end of the day. Amenities of the town just 5 mins walk away across the park. Buffet meals offered very good...

Do not stay here if you are under 60 yo. This hotel is extremely old fashioned, no room service, no mini bar, the staff and guest are all very old people which means there is no activity going on. fitness place, bar, and pool and sauna are all poorly equiped and staffed.

Just returned from a weeks stay at the hotel booked via crystal holidays. Wonderful stay at a first class hotel. The room (304) was clean with a lovely view. Bed very comfortable and bathroom a good size. Food was excellent with a choice of 3 meals each night, a good salad and drinks were included whilst eating. Live entertainment each...
