We were very impressed from start to finish. We were given a very friendly welcome and everything was explained to us. Every guest gets a room card on which the ski pass can be booked very easily. With this you can have everything booked to your room in all Gerber branches and even get a discount. Each room has its own cupboard for skis and boots. This is also unlocked with the room card, very practical.
The breakfast buffet was great, everything we needed was there. Lots of different types of cheese and sausage, sweet things, coffee specialties, tea, eggs just the way you want them, just everything there.
The evening meal was two buffets (Mediterranean and Tyrolean evening), which were really delicious and varied. Otherwise you could choose what you wanted to eat the evening before. Fish, meat and vegetarian as a main course were available, plus a starter and a dessert. There was also a salad buffet, a huge cheese buffet, two soups and ice cream. Everything was always beautifully presented.
You always sit in the same place when you eat and are served by one person. For us it was Katharina, very accommodating and simply a very nice waitress, who always explained everything to us.
The selection of drinks is huge and the cocktails are all freshly prepared.
We booked the fondue evening one evening, which is also highly recommended because it is in the evening at the Drei Seen Hütte. The ride on the snow groomer is worth it alone.
The sky pool is the absolute highlight, from which you can look out over the slopes. In the wellness area there is a large sauna, a steam bath, a salt water bath, lots of places to lie down with snacks, tea and water and infrared cabins/loungers.
As you can probably tell, we were very satisfied and have nothing to complain about. We cannot understand the reviews that there is little choice of food or that someone was unfriendly.
We say thank you and will definitely come back.

All in all, it was a relaxing visit with a great sky pool and a fantastic dinner as well as breakfast menu. We stayed only one night and it was quite spontaneous. We really enjoyed it but didn't care so much about the room. It is perfect for going skiing in Kühtai. More details below.

Why go there?
There is a lot of good reasons :)
* Fantastic Dinner
* Great Wellness inkl. Sky Pool
* Just directly located beneath the piste
* Staff is super friendly and really helpful.
* Great drinks and well-selected wines.

What's the drawback?
* The hotel is still in transition I think. While the entrance and the restaurant/bar is quite newly build and shines, the room we had was rather medium with old doors and a wall in front of our window. The spa is greek style and feels a bit out of time. Not bad at all, because I think they might renovate it within time. But still, you shouldn't expect too much of your rooms even though it is quite pricy.

What to improve?
* Personally, I would appreciate to have a kids + family part in the restaurant and another one for couples or people without kids. I believe it is very different requirements that those two groups have and it would be a lot more relaxing. The concept is already applied to the pool and wellness which i think is nice.

It is a great place to stay and I would definitely come back. Especially for the Sky Pool and the Dinner! Great work. Keep it up!

We have now spent several times as a family our Skiing Holidays in the Mooshaus in Kuehtai, and each time, when we thought it was great, they managed to even excel again the next time we came again. The hotel has undergone an extensive and mind blowing expansion with fantastic improvements in every area adding to the hotel's guest experience - from the arrival in the newly designed and expanded indoor parking facility , the newly built and extremely well designed luxurious Lobby and Reception area, to the very modern and tastefully designed rooms and apartments, there is perfection in the house. The view directly to both sides of the mountains and the skiing slopes not to mention, this alone is already worth the trip! Pure bliss!
Amazing food with extremely extensive high quality breakfast range, very substantial Spa, 100 meter pool beyond imagination and the perfect connectivity to Munich airport make this unique hotel together with the guarantee for snow a no brainer.

Hotel is great for families and couples as they assign specially designated table areas for couples only to ensure privacy if needed.

Mooshaus pretends to be a family resort. We did not feel welcome at all with our children. Examples are; a big cow with “diamonds” at the reception, which is offcourse very tempting for young children, surrounded with signs that children should stay away. A buffet in the evening with hotel staff members that are checking if children “behave”, Almost every night we where spoken to firmly by the staff members that we should control our kids. Our 3 year old by accident took a tomato from the bowl, offcourse we understand that children are not allowed to touch the food with their hands but at the same time, they are kids. Another example is the pool on the rooftop with a restaurant that does not allow kids under age 16.. The food was very good and some of the staff was friendly, but the owner was especially one of the staff members that gave us a very stressed out and unwelcome feeling. The hotel is expensive but you don’t get value for money if you want to have a holiday in which your kids are welcome and can be kids and you as a parent can relax.

Unfortunately, the price and the services offered do not match. We were there in the week before Easter and paid almost 300 euros per person for half board. There are two areas in this hotel - the new building with the modern rooms shown on the website. And the old building with rustic oak furnishings from the 80s. The bathroom was similarly dated with cheap plastic cups on a cracked vanity. In the room we also found neither a welcome bottle of water nor general information with the most important information about our stay - both things that are standard in a hotel in this price range.

The wellness area was renovated, but not consistently. The plaster is already crumbling in the rest area. A highlight, however, is the infinity pool on the roof. However, there is no toilet here, so you have to go either to the room or to the wellness area in the basement. The drinks bar was also not occupied during opening hours.

The breakfast buffet was very extensive with fresh products. At dinner, however, the quality of a house that advertises itself as superior was again missing. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but can't make up for the lack of quality in the kitchen.

Last but not least, you are welcome to transport your luggage yourself between the underground car park and your room using a luggage trolley when you arrive and depart. There is no support from the hotel.

A cool rooftop pool may attract guests. However, if a hotel is in this price segment, it should also consistently offer its guests high quality. The moss house is far from achieving this.

This hotel leaves nothing to be desired.
Our children felt completely at home and didn't want to leave.
Childcare with heart is 100% true here. As parents, we were also able to switch off. The location of the hotel is excellent, you walk directly from the hotel to the chairlift about 50 meters without crossing a street. The pool on the roof is an absolute highlight. We will definitely be back!

We have been coming here for years. A beautiful hotel that has everything we need with our kids. The rooms are spacious, there are family rooms, a supervised children's/youth area is very close to the dining room/bar and we can rent skis and ski boots directly from the hotel. The staff are very friendly everywhere and the food is thought of both adults and children's tastes. Great!

I cannot understand the negative experiences. The staff, no matter in which area, were very friendly and accommodating. We found the service to be perfect and the quality of the food, whether breakfast or dinner, we can only say: excellent! Luxurious facilities, beautiful designs, everything just fits. If you want to be pampered, you are in very good hands here!

Service employee top!
Excellent wine list!!! And the rooms have fulfilled more than our expectation including swimming pool (extra also for children) & sauna area.

Breakfast is more than adequate and is constantly replenished. The evening menus are high level and some days have a theme

We had a family room and have three children. The children were in a separate room with three single beds against the wall in a row. They had their own wardrobes and whatnot and generally had a ball. The only advantage of a deluxe double is that you'd get two bathrooms? Otherwise I wouldn't of thought it was worth it.

Sadly no! We like smart casual which is fine for the Mooshaus unless they were having say a gala night when I would want to dress up a bit more.
