We loved the idea of a renovated hotel. Sadly, because of an ongoing renovation we got an "upgrade" to the loft. The loft was awesomely done (still needed a little work, but those are details), but...my boyfriend booked a simple hotel room because it still had an old feel to it. The loft was very modern so, it missed the...

Lovely B&B hosted by Hedwig. Historic old farm house. Modern trendy rooms and very cosy places like the bar with fireplace and resto area. The owner is a superb host. In winter time with some snow it would be even more lovely.

I think there were just 6 rooms to book. That's exactly what I love. Not the big hotel walls with a massive amount of rooms, giant halls for breakfast...no thanks. This `Ancient Relais` is converted in to a hotel without removing too much of the gorgeous details. It is a delight! A very joung, but very good cook gave us...

You know what to expect when you book a room in an old authentic place like this. We booked a room here for one night and it was a good experience. Yes, the floors are squeaky, but if not in an old building like that, it would be suspect ! Nice bed and the overall accomadation. A few details which...

Dear fellow travellers, We had a good time in Robertville. The Ancien Relais de Poste is an antique farmhouse. The owner is very laid back but friendly enough. We had a room upstairs with in it a spiral staircase up to the bathroom. Rather romantic. Quiet village out of season. Nice restaurant just next door. If we're in the area,...

Hotel located in a 400 year old building - sounds romantic at the first place. But then you have to accept squeaqy floors, a bad sound isolation, room door not closing properly. Very noisy room, street noises all night, and from the milking machine of the farm next door every night until 10.30 PM and from 5 AM in the...

Cozy and quiet place for a weekend trip close to the hiking paths. The ancient rooms from the 18th century are very nicely converted into hotel rooms with modern facilities. Herwig, the owner & staff is very friendly.

The host is very kind with smile. The location is great for going trekking or mountain biking in Haute Fagne. Very nice garden with a terrace in calm Robertville where you can enjoy sunshine and country life. Also near to the lake of robertville.

I cancelled a first reservation in accordance with the hotel's terms, and the owner agreed to keep my deposit for a next reservation. The second reservation fell through, as my parents' flight from the States was cancelled due to the volcanic eruption. I hoped to keep the portion of the reservation for myself and my kids, but this also didn't...
