This place is a find. One of those you don't want everyone to know about in case it's too busy to get a room again next year! Amazing location. You can fall out of this place onto the pretty street and straight into bakeries and cafes. Lovely hosts. A piece of sanctuary. Would defo stay again.

I stayed at La Cordiere over the bank holiday weekend for a family wedding and had a wonderful stay. The place was clean, charming and full of character and the landlady could not have been more helpful or welcoming. Quintessionally French and definitely worth a visit

Lourmarin is a wonderful, magical and beautiful village, and La Cordiere is the perfect place to stay when visiting Lourmarin. The "apartment" we stayed in at "La Cordiere" was quite well appointed; comfortable; and perfectly situated (with ready access to all of Lourmarin's jewels... from great restaurants; to lovely shops; to an exceptional bakery). Francoise, the erudite, compassionate and "perfect"...

I spent an incredible week last November in La Cordiere, and it has been one of the best stays of the year. Francoise is a lovely, attentive and welcoming guest, she helped us because we didn't get our luggage until 3 days after we got there, so she drove us to the nearest supermarket to get essentials, and even helped...

After walking the Camino de Santiago I wanted the perfect place to relax and celebrate my 60th birthday. Being a francophone I searched the Internet for a French village and came upon Lourmarin and La Cordière. The pictures painted a place charming, unique, and utterly Provençal. The pictures proved to be reality. What we hadn't reckoned on was the help...

I stayed for 6 nights at La Cordiere with the truly hospitable and fantastic Francoise, owner of this fantastic B&B (chambre d'hote). It's a 1-minute walk from the center of the village of Lourmarin, which is itself a discovery. I stayed in two rooms, both great. The second, a studio (Le Paradis) is a bit larger, but both were outstanding...

We stayed in the ground-floor studio of La Cordiére in the end of June 2015. It was lovely. Had a perfect provençal feel and look. We had a kitchen w/ a small fridge, a few little tables, a coffee table, couch, comfortable bed. This place feels like a bed & breakfast (without the breakfast :) There are several adorable little...

It would be impossible to find a more lovely and personable place to stay than La Cordiere -- or a more charming hostess than Francoise. And I speak as someone who spent has decades on the road worldwide as a foreign correspondent. Every nook and cranny in this establishment is a testament to imagination and good taste, but always with...

Charming little B & B in the centre of Lourmarin. We had the top room as there were 4 of us. A lovely room decked out in old wares. Franchise was lovely. Very helpful and spoke English too. Could walk to everything around town and restaurants just outside the front door. Could stay again.

Very nice and romantic accommodation in the heart of Lourmarin with a lovely courtyard. The host was friendly and helpful. The rooms/apartments were very cozy, original and clean. Regarding the season and region/village the prices were fair. Would definitely go there again.
