I chose this place because it was listed as pet-friendly and we had to travel with my daughter's small dog while visiting friends in the area. I confirmed our reservation and checked-in before we sat down to eat. The dog was with us at the table - which is common in Germany. The food was good and the seasonal beer...

This is a lovely hotel and worth a stay if traveling through this quaint town. We were there during their Annafest and it was in walking distance. You have to be able to walk up stairs - but it was not too bad. There was no AC or fans, so ask for a room away from the street if you...

On a motorcycle trip through Bavaria, reserved a room here for the night. Beautifully renovated gasthaus. I suppose the room is small by American standards, but more than adequate for me. Very modern, the shower is AWESOME! Good wifi signal, and free to boot, you do need to sign a waiver to get the password. Dinner was well prepared, the...

We stayed here during a trip to Germany. Located in town with opportunities to stroll. The hotel itself was lovely and the food was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. The room was tastefully decorated with a small bathroom added.

Nicely located in a small dorf this is the kind of traditional hotel you will find in this part of Germany. What makes this special is the in house brewery and the nice selection of beers. In addition comes the good food we enjoyed in the restaurant where they also served a good breakfast. We booked a 4 bed room...

Don't stay here unless you want to find charges on your credit card from the hotel that they didn't even contact you about ahead of time, for someone else's damages to the room... 3 days after the fact.

For business and or pleasure, this is the place to stay. Great staff, nice ambiance, great service, clean and good food. Hotel is well decorated and the rooms are were very comfortable. The apartment (larger) rooms are to be recommended. I will go back there!

I have stayed at this Gasthof on numerous occasions as we have a customer in Sulzbach-Rosenberg. Normally I am travelling alone but feel very much 'at home' here. The atmosphere, rooms, food, drink provided by the owners and staff is really great - they manage to retain the quintessential spirit of a Bavarian guest house whilst, at the same time,...

What a great place to stay! The owners are exceptionally nice and it is a neat gasthaus! The rooms are nice, very clean and the restaurant had excellent food. It is the place to stay if you want a real Bavarian experience Of course, it doesn't hurt that the owners also run the best brewery in the area! Sulzbach-Rosenberg is...

“Parking is a bit of an issue, park in the back during the day but be careful in that the beer trucks may block you in. After 6pm and until 8am, parking on the street is free. The secret is to park in the street late in the afternoon (around 4-5pm) and pay the euro or two to cover the time until it's free!”

“If you want wifi without ethernet, stay in the front half of the hotel. The back half of the hotel can be a bit noisy in the mornings as it is a working brewery. They load the trucks in the mornings.”
