We arrived at the Hotel at night and we realized after some minutes that we were the only couple in the Hotel. The guy at the reception was really friendly and helpful and told us that the breakfast was going to be served next morning in the room (we tought it was a good idea at the time). The Hotel itself seems to be very good and is well organized. The first night was good and we had a good sleep althoug the air was always turning on and off and there was no way to turn it off. The breakfast was served in the room but we really did not had that much space to eat and the pastries were old and not good the rest was ok. The second day/night was probably the worst in this two night stay. Other people arrived at the Hotel and we dont understand why but the Hotel decided to put them exactly next to us. Of course that did not go well. Around 23:30 we had to change room because the couple next to us were doing a lot of noise.. Regarding the cleaning of the room on the second day it was not that good, we still had a lot hairs and crumbs on the floor and it could have been better. Overall the stay was average with some good and not so good points.

Came here for a weekend cricket tour to the wonderful Los Amigos club. Hotel ticked all the boxes. Comfortable modern rooms, decent breakfasts and a nice pool (not to mention the pool table). Staff friendly and obliging.

The Hotel is installed in an old 18th century house, refurbished and modernized with taste. The decoration and facilities lok modern but the old atmosphere somehow pervades the Hotel. Rooms are sober, have acceptable dimension, a balcony, and the usual accessories with good quality. Restaurant is fubctioning only for breakfast, what is a pity, but the tourism boom has not yet reached Ferreira do Zezere in the low season. A bar, an outside swimming pool, the village nearby within walking distance to its center make the Hotel a good choice, actually the best choice in Ferreira do Zezere proper. It has nearby parking or a garage for an extra reasonable fee. The acces from the parking with luggage is a bit bumpy, inside the property, with the pavement made of a sort of cobble stones.

I stumbled into this hotel because I wanted to visit the Knights of Templar castle nearby and there were very few hotel options in Tomar. What a gem this hotel is. There were little expectation when we arrive in this small and quiet town, the hotel looks lovely with a nice small garden in the front. We had to check at the front dest to find our way to the parking garage door, the staff was curious, friendly. Once we checked into our room, this hotel is pretty new, the furniture and decoration are modern and nicely assembled. Fixtures for the bathrooms are top notch. Not long after we checked in, we heard a know on the door and they had brought us complementary afternoon tea and snacks. What a pleasant surprise! The lobby are is very cozy and beautiful, great to sit around and do some reading or browsing the internet. We did not wanted to go out for dinner that night since we had a long day site sexting and driving. The sent us to their dinning room and again, we went with very little expectation but was rewarded with a delicious meal. Every dish was tasty, there waiter super friendly and provided helpful recommendations for both dishes and wine. We had a blast. It was sad leaving the hotel after we had a great breakfast the next morning. But then, the castle and treasure awaits.
