Stayed two nights here in a very cool wet spell so really didnt make the most of the views thought even in the wet we enjoyed short walks in the hills around the hotel with only birdsong breaking the silence. Thankfully the hotel was a great place to hang out in bad weather with wood-burners in the dining room and...

Parador on a beautiful spot. Wonderful restaurant but just take the diner. The entree plus diner is much to much. Dessert very special. Very friendly staff. Spa and sauna not included but very nice anyway. Tolox belongs to the most beautiful villages in Spain but that we couldn't discover. Not a really or special village. There are more villages around...

Well the eagle-eyed will spot this is my second review, of Cerro de Hijar. Feel comfortable doing this - As we returned, 12 months after our last stay and stayed in a different suite. Cerro de Hijar still offers it's guests a wonderful experience - both in terms of the overall ambience and the wonderful cuisine. The clientele are truly...

We stayed for two nights at this Hotel as part of a driving holiday visiting several cities starting in Madrid . This was our relaxation part of the holiday and we decided to go here rather than the beach. Good choice as we loved it. The room we had was spacious and had a fridge, kettle and tea and coffee...

We were not disappointed beautiful surroundings, first we enjoyed a drink on the shaded terrace. The meal was excellent quality, We chose the homemade ravioli, stuffed with oxtail....gorgeous! The most beautiful place in Spain to view the coast whilst sitting in tranquil gardens. The local Manchego cheese and Serrano ham with warm bread rolls are perfect with their home made sangria. Worth the trip even though the road is a little hairy!

This hotel can be difficult to locate but it is certainly worth the trek. The hotel location is superb, the sunrise/sets are exceptional. The rooms were basic but comfortable. The food was great with very attentive and hospitable staff. If your looking for relaxation and a fabulous stay and don't mind travelling for it, this is the place to be

Have an incredible stay. The staff were super nice, the location is breath taking. We got very nice sports massages from Natalia. The spa experience was wonderful, you get the outdoor private area to yourself for one hour. The sauna is really nice, the jacuzzi isn't the best, the jets are not very strong, but still nice to chill outdoors...

We stayed as a family of 5 for 3 days before heading to the coast and what a relaxing time we have had. The rooms, pool area, food and staff have all been fantastic. This is a 3* hotel but aspires to be much more with its standards, the management are to be applauded. Nothing is too much trouble, the...
