The rain in Spain.
After the worst weather for 70 years we moved from Conil near Cadiz. Some one told us it was a dump but we wanted sun and it seamed that the med had it. We were told it was a dump but...More
Camping pitches ok, restaraunt good, paid for wifi good. Toilet/shower blocks like something from the 1980s - in poor condition, no control of water - either burns your skin off or freezes the nether regions, broken doors, broken tiles around the outside wash facilities, damp...More
We arrived at La Manga just before Valentines. We had been warned by the Caravan and Motorhome Club about the high number of residential properties, shacks! My husband likened some to Soweta. This is a huge site.
Positives: plenty toilet blocks, evening entertainment, restaurant on...More

There are loads of "emplacements" for sale, but be very careful as they are of varying standards. Some are like shanty town corrugated huts and an area was described as "Beirut" (not by me, but by someone who lived there). Some are ok but need to be seen as some of the privately owned ones are back to back.
La Manga is described as a marmite site, you love it or hate it. I found it ok but were on the touring pitches in a good position. I wouldn't have been happy elsewhere. Toilet facilities were spotless, bar, restaurant and shop very good.
