We went 5 days in August, the normal hotel, when I made the Reservation there were no standard rooms, so I had to pay 100€ more which was positive in my case since, my son is a teenager and was a 90 bed and not an extra which is what you get in a standard room.
We got a nice room, with a spacious bathroom with soap dispensers. (positive point stopped my the truth).
Mattresses the truth the third day I wanted to give me lumbago, but well I may not be used to sleeping on mattresses so hard.
The pillows if it is a point to check by the hotel, are very thin and when you lean thinner they stay.
The cleaning is done very early while breakfast, I understand that it will be many rooms that must clean, but the first day I found a very good cleaning, the rest of the regular days the mirror was not cleaned except the first day, the others continue to see the soap drops.
Regarding the food it is disappointing, very little variety, both in main course and desserts.
We entered on a Friday and on Sunday a full bus arrived, and it was crazy for the food many people, a huge line, although the truth for so many people the wait was medium regular. On Sunday we had dinner outside since so many people... and also outside place the menu both lunch and dinner, a favor since we did not like dinner much and decided to eat outside.
The waiters in the dining room were fine, but most of them lacked more initiative, as they saw the table with many dishes already on top of each other to take and we had to tell them to pick them up.
The pools not very full which is appreciated. In my review the pools well. The negative point to rent the sunbeds at € 1 per sunbed. That's if since you pay for it you can leave your towel and you're going to eat or go for a walk and your sun lounger is secured.
It has a bar between the pool and the beach of the lesser sea is great. If you do not like the minor sea (you have to enter many meters to achieve depth) crossing the street you have the Mediterranean Sea.
As for the parking outside there are many places although when we arrived it was full so we took the one of the hotel that is discovered and without asphalt at 3.60€ a day.

Generally speaking a hotel to go when you take with little time as it was one of the cheapest, but if you had taken it earlier I would prefer another the truth.
Still very educated workers.

We decided to take the first nights of opening 2021, we were not disappointed.
I have stayed here before, but I think it was better than ever.
The food was excellent, the staff do not stop working, really hard to make sure everyone is happy, they really are a credit to the hotel. The assisted buffet this week was great ,Steak, fish lamb everything you could eat , great starters and deserts..
The hotel seemed very busy, love to see the youngsters at the Cavanna surf enjoying themselves. I paid a little extra for the superior room excellent spotless clean.
Only one small comment, the glass conservatory was not always open, i understand when there are less guest eating, but the view is beautiful and lovely to eat your meals as the sun goes down. Lovely stay i cant wait to return.

As the title says, the rooms need a face wash, the air conditioning sounded a lot... half broken fridge, antique furniture....
The views from the room towards the minor sea are incredible....the bad thing, is that when you go down to the beach of the minor sea, you realize why there are so few people....it is full of jellyfish...but full. The good thing is that across the street you have the Mediterranean in which the water is very clean.
The hotel has 14 floors, but has five elevators, so the wait is not long.
Food is scarce, there is not much variety, we went with Full Pension and no water comes in, you have to pay for all drinks separately.
It has a bar in the pool, which also overlooks the beach, and that is appreciated, they also rent kayaks and Barça pedalos...
Taking a sunbed costs you a euro, and you have it for the whole day...it is the first time I pay in a hotel to take a sunbed.
And the workers in general well, nice people.

This is the worst hotel I've stayed in, considering its 4 stars and the price! I wish I had read the reviews before booking it. The hotel is super dated, with ugly rooms from 60s and in my case I didnt even get the view.
Its only spanish families who stay there I was the only foreigner and noone spoke English. Staff just don't care, you come to reception and there is no one, you come to the bar and there is no one, or they ignore you for 15 min. Canteen (no way you can call that a restaurant) is the worst you spend 30 min queuing to go in and then at each station another 20, and then walk around looking for a clean table. There can be one person serving a few stations at once who can leave when you come without apologising. It's a chaos with a thousand people, no social distancing, so loud and on top of that the food is terrible! Made me skip meals i paid for.
And i wrote this review waitibg in the queue.

The hotel is very well situated between the lagoon Mar Menor with shallow, very salty and warm water and the Mediterranean sea. The rooms are spacious and clean and the food in a large restaurant is very delicious with wide choice. There are shops, restaurants and cafeterias around. You can use a bus to discover La Manga which is this stripe of land of about 20 km and which divides these two seas. The Mediterranean sea is easily accessible across the road. Water was warm but there were waves.

We already knew the hotel and that's why we decided to return.
He has let us down
1. The hotel is not bad but it needs a major facelift
2. The reception staff were arrogant and had little empathy. I had a small unforeseen incident and apart from not solving it, they didn't have the desire either. If it were me, they would go to the street and put in people who were more trained, willing to work and pleasant because they didn't even explain themselves and Thanks to them I will not return again.
3. I was very surprised when they asked me 1 euro to use the pool lounger and even more when they asked me for almost 9 euros per cot/night.
The best thing about the hotel is the beach bar and the location, but it is very old and the workers lack the desire to work.
Very complicated parking and very little entertainment even though it is a hotel for children.
The normal buffet, the food was not bad and you had a choice although I have seen better ones
Some very friendly waiters and others....
This hotel has more shadows than lights.

Themed hotel of the series tell me.
If you like the show, this is your hotel. The reception and rest of the ground floor is simple, very simple. But the best thing is when you enter the room, it’s like when you went to grandparents back in the 80’s, gotelé walls, 80’s furniture, the bathroom, that’s the most vintage, the tiles are the most, all accompanied by the typical singleness of those wonderful years. The curtains can be seen that in those years they bought spare fabric to be renovated. The mini fridge does not cool, the air conditioning (console) makes a noise of milk. If you get hit from floor 3, you have a problem. The elevators, in these dates are saturated, there are three of around 5 or 6 people capacity and two small elevators for 3 or 4 people, considering that always go suitcases, children's carts or hammocks are very short, when it comes time for meals is hell the wait.
Pros, hotel situation, staff attention and food.
But he honestly has at least one Ace left over.

I will begin by joining those travelers who have been to the hotel and despite their opinions I wanted to ignore them and verify them for myself, and how right they are I will begin by commenting on mine as an experienced travel user.
Very old hotel in facilities, we have been through a pandemic and they could have taken advantage of the situation to update, very old and damaged bathrooms and rooms, I know that the management will say that they are renovating them and if it seems that they are in the process, let's hope it takes time as little as possible, moving on to the restoration issue, we must tell clients that if they continue with the habit of cleaning and putting cutlery, they are going to fire the poor waiters, I have not seen that in any hotel, especially one of supposed 4 stars (which we will have to find out where they give them, there are some too many), the bad food, without imagination and very repetitive, some days it has reminded me of that saying (what you don't eat for lunch you will have for dinner), Despite including water and wine in the meals, I recommend that you repeat water since the wine is undrinkable, it is vinegar, in short, personally I will not repeat the experience in this hotel, despite having gone with the imserso, but gentlemen, do not be confused by For one week I paid €450, not counting the State contribution, please don't be fooled, nearby there are hotels with the same stars and much superior to the one offered by this one, some of us retirees still have great capacity for analysis, oh by the way we have shared the same experience with normal travelers without being imserso travelers. Thank you anyway.

Completely outdated hotel with horrible food. I booked for 4 days but only managed to stay for 2 days. The rooms do not have any comfort, outdated furniture does not have 220v plugs to charge phones. The food is always based on pork, with little choice. The hotel does not deserve this 4 star rating. The only positive thing to highlight is the cleanliness. I do not recommend this hotel for holidays. The hotel is well located and has good views, but on the other hand, all hotels are well located

Besides the views and the location of where we are. The actual hotel it self is dirty, dated and quite frankly chaotic.. with 1000s of kids and family’s running around, you defiantly won’t be getting an enjoyable nights sleep. It’s far too Chaotic and can hear everything that goes on from the room. To be honest I thought the views would be able to save the hotel, but unfortunately I defiantly won’t be staying here again.. such a horrible old looking hotel so much noise and chaos about needs to be updated desperately..

Hi, yes there is parking out the front, for free but does get busy. I believe the hotel has parking that they charge for as there is a barrier.

Not sure about bus but should get taxi but could be expensive. Have you tried a transfer company, not sure if there are any but you could look on internet. Another idea is to contact hotel to see if they organise anything. We always hire a car

I don't really know about the hotel itself. Better to ask the hotel management for the program. I can tell you about the area, in general: April is the beginning of the season in La Manga, but its a extremely seasonal destination with a very clear peak in july/august. The Mar Menor beach by the hotel is really safe and you can leave your kid to play around in the sand with relaxed supervision, that's for sure. Then there's all the activities of the hotel kayak/sailing school (and other schools close by) that you can enjoy together (at 5, too young to start sailing lessons on his own). bike tours are specially safe with les cars around so that is something to do too. There is a kids park a kilometer from the hotel, it will be open, it has a restaurant inside too. you can check it on Facebook under the name "ZONA FANS Peke Park La Manga". Hope this helps
