Had a fantastic day at Ye Olde Ferrie Inn with Jamie and the staff. Tried paddle boarding with Holly the instructor who was fab and had lots of patience even when we fell in!! Also had some food and drinks which were lovely. Would definately recommend you pay a visit

The room and bathroom were of a good size. The staff were very friendly and there was an excellent breakfast menu. We would definitely stay at the Ferrie Inn again. Also there were some nice walks near to the inn.

The location is right on the Wye. Ideal friendly and comfortable place to stay for fantastic river and hillside walks, or activities on the water. The staff are lovely, rooms comfy, the food great and the locals are a hoot, very hospitable folk. Good selection of ales.

I am usually a positive reviewer but this place is a missed opportunity. Great location has led to a complacent and unhelpful team who, without exception behave as though customers are an inconvenience. The food is fair, but the service is poor. The manager (small thin chap who stands outside the front door smoking) clearly sets the culture which allows...

Simple rooms but clean with tea and coffee making facilities and lovely views. Very friendly staff and the whole place is a charming location right on the river. Excellent breakfast too. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Magnificently sited Inn on River Wye. Comfortable room with all necessary essentials and some luxuries provided and wonderful river view; hardly large enough to swing a kitten, let alone a cat - but just fine for two people for a short stay. Helpful and very pleasant staff; wholesome if basic pub food.

Very friendly staff, we were made very welcome. Excellent food & a good choice of real ales. The walking is great up and down the Wye. Recommend climbing to top of Yat Rock as views are magnificent. You also might see the Perigrin Falcons.

Delightful setting in the picturesque Symonds Yat West, Ye Old Ferrie Inn benefits from a stunning location. The inn is old and quaint as all old buildings are. Our room,(coppett) was spotlessly clean with a view of the river. The en suite is small with just a shower and toilet. The wash basin has to be located in the bedroom....

Perfect setting for a weekend stay, great food, lovely staff and fantastic location, we also had fantastic weather so that made for the perfect stay, we didn't want to leave. It's worth knowing that you need to folllow the signs to symbols yat west as we got lost and ended up on the wrong side of the river. The bedroom...

On the positive the location was outstanding. The Manager was on it!! Ran a tight ship and staff were faultless. Lunch and dinner was very good. However the accommodation and pub in general was tatty and in need of tlc. Not overly welcoming and rooms average not warranting the price we paid. Get the hotel decorated and cleaner and you...
