We had 2 evening meals at this Inn and enjoyed both meals. The prices are a bit high but the food is sooo good! The waiters/waitresses were highly professional and friendly! Booking recommended as it is a popular Inn.

Booked a table for 8. Asked to come earlier than requested so assumed there must be a degree of planning but could not have been more wrong. Pub is a long series of rooms. We were in the far one with lots of table with reserved signs on them for people who never turned up so for most of our...

We were here at xmas and went walking along the riverside followed by lunch at this place. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was great very busy and you can see why, the staff had a nice attitude and we really enjoyed it.

We stayed for a two night long weekend, at the Saracens Head, in Room 2, with spectacular views of the River Wye. The Inn has a small dedicated car park in front of it, along the rivers edge. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room did have a couple of minor issues, which were dealt with immediately....

We arrived at lunchtime on a day between Christmas and New Year. The pub inside was busy and so we sat outside as the weather wasn't cold and it wasn't raining, although there is also a covered area outside. There were not many spare tables either so this was a good sign. We ordered lunch (2 adults, 3 children) at...

However, the staff were so welcoming & friendly & advised ot would be fine as long as we ordered as soon as possible. We shared a started of home cooked scotch egg which was lovely. My husband had the beef &...

The food here was excellent, very chilled with a superb log fire roaring away. We enjoyed the scotch egg followed by a burger and tartiflette, all of which were superb. Not cheap but you get what you pay for! I'd definitely suggest the scramble up to the top of Symonds Yat, burn those calories off!

I mixed a bit of business and pleasure in the area and chose to stay for one night at the Saracens Head. The riverside location was stunning even on a wet and windy December day. The welcome from the staff was warm , my room , although small , had an amazing view and had everything I needed .The atmosphere...
