Very friendly staff, greats clean rooms. Took our dog. The dogs were allowed in the bar area and again the bar area for breakfast which was great! Great atmosphere. It has a beach opposite that is only dog friendly during September to May.

Stayed for a couple of nights just to chill out! The food was very good also the service. Friendly staff who went out of the way to help. Cask ales served in the bar, but limited choice of sandwiches for lunch if you don't want a meal, only 3 choices from the standard range, the remaining ones were very expensive....

Visited Botany Bay hotel for the first time whilst on business this week, selected due to proximity and location of where I needed to be. First night was awful, however second night was pleasant to summarise. April the manager I must say was very accommodating and shame other staff on the desk weren't as efficient. First night resulted in no...

My husband was not taken to a table, so he chose one. It was a very quiet period in the afternoon and many free tables yet he was quickly requested him to move without giving an explanation, even though no tables were reserved. When our meals came, we were not served with a smile. When we asked for the bill,...

Spotless, comfortable room with welcoming atmosphere. Manager and staff unfailingly cheerful, helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Even though the weather was unseasonably cold and windy, we found it easy and pleasant to relax with drinks in the delightful conservatory while enjoying the panoramic view.

We visited kings gate for a friends birthday celebrations and stayed a Saturday night at Botany Bay. The rooms looked freshly decorated and were clean. We had a room overlooking the sea and it was a beautiful view. Being at the top of the hill there was a fresh breeze when we walked along the cliff top. We had plentiful...

I can't praise the hotel enough. Typical standards of Shepherd Neame hotels and more. We visited for Sunday carvery lunch 30th April 2017. We have visited the hotel several times in the last year and have taken friends with us who also agreed on the hotels's high quality and value. The restaurant ticks all the boxes. We also stayed overnight...
