Having a day out at the beach (yes I know it's December and no I'm not a loon) we decided to have lunch as we were at the botany bay hotel. The staff were very pleasant and attentive and the food arrived quickly . I had the fish which was lovely - my girlfriend being veggie had the veggie burger... More

Went there in may and only had lunch, but the few hours that we spent there were more than enough to impress me! Excellent service with attentive waiting stuff! Had a fish and chips and it was superb! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cool place to relax! Will be definitely coming back.

Warm and comfortable rooms, a welcoming bar, and great breakfasts. We thought this hotel was in Broadstairs itself and were a bit disconcerted to find ourselves three miles away. However, it turned out fine as the hotel restaurant did us a good meal that evening and the next day we walked the clear tarmaced cliff top route into Broadstairs and... More

Mums birthday get together for lunch. She wont go anywhere without the dog so luckily this place allows good behaved dogs. We all had a mixture of starters and mains for our dinner which wasn't a problem at all. Friendly staff and good prices so everyone was happy.

Location is great and the hotel is well worth a visit, The room we had was very smart clean and comfortable although there were a couple of minor maintenance issues' I would have rated much higher if it wasn't for the bar food. I had the sausages and bubble - the sausages were dried out and overcooked and the bubble... More

We had aimed to look at this area when exploring Kent, as Botany Bay was featured in a film we had seen some time ago. The beach was awesome with huge white chalk cliffs right on it. The hotel was smart and modern with plenty of efficient staff. we had lunch there which was nice and freshly made and at... More

Just been for a quite coffee with friends--we could not hear ourselves talk due to dogs barking loud and constant, a couple of times they caused young children to scream in fright--maybe not a place to take young children. This in the area where you eat, to my mind not very hygienic. So if you love dogs everywhere you will... More

We arrived for our one night stay and was impressed from the moment we got there. Our room superior sea view 501 was perfect, so clean and bright. Tea making, iron and board, radio, good size TV, toiletries etc. The bedding was so crisp and fresh and very comfortable. The view is amazing. We had lunch when we arrived then... More
