We are visiting from Canada and decided to stay at the Balival. It has the traditional feel of old scotland with the tarten carpet and curtains. The staff are fantastic, helpful and very friendly. Rooms are very clean. Location is great whether you want to catch a shinty game, tour the highlands or just relax. Would stay again in a... More

Nice hotel in a small beautiful town. Staff extremelly friendly and willing to help. We went for a walk and lost track of time so it was a bit after the kitchen closed, but they still served us a very nice meal. The pizza was FANTASTIC!!!! Lovely live music too.

The breakfast is served on the table and if you like something more like toasts, or honey, or ... , you just have to ask the staff and they bring it to you. For Dinner we could choose between... My stay here was great, the staff made me feel welcome, hotel was clean. Great service from all associated with the hotel all the time, if anything was needed there was always someone on hand to help you out. Would recommend the place for a get away trip where you can relax and let your hair down.
