We stayed here at the end of November and even got a bit of snow! Loved it here. Everyone was extremely friendly, food was great and pub had a great local atmosphere. The rooms were bigger than expected and very nice. Clean and well looked after. We ended up coming back to Newtonmore again on this trip and didn't hesitate... More

Cosy rooms, warm atmosphere. Staff is helpful and charming. We had dinner in the small and cosy restaurant. The food was surprisingly good. Crispy shrips and lovely chips! This truly is a nice place to stay ...

We were staying near the Glen and decided to eat there on Saturday for a change and ended eating there Sunday and Monday. Food was varied and excellent especially the haggis. Great value and beer and the English lady who served us was great. We have booked in the area next year for a week and will return.

Fantastic and warming. If you've been walking, cycling, canoeing, etc in the area, a great place to get some carbs is "The Glen". Great warmth, great beer and a friendly welcome. Don't miss it and pass on the good news.

Arrived without reservation, and notwithstanding many tables were pre-booked, we were welcomed and offered a table with no notice. A wide choice of daily specials was on offer, and the meals we ordered were promptly served by very helpful and friendly staff. It would be misleading to describe the meals as 'pub-food'. Each dish was cooked to perfection way above... More

I stayed here after riding Laggan Wolftrax and enjoyed quaint Newtonmore and a nice big comfy bed! The place is charming and the bed had lovely linens and pillows. Overall a very pleasant experience - breakfast was also quite good.
