This is a very magical place! The beach itself is absurdly beautiful. During low tide the volcanic rocks leave warm little pools of water. The property itself is beautiful, with hammocks in the shade, and palm trees everywhere. Service was really nice, and it's just such a wonderful place to unwind for a while. You can make your own food...

Last month I returned to Casa Garrobo for few nights. I have to say that I love Playa Los Cobanos, it is a magical place: the beach, warm ocean waters, beautiful view and the vibe of this fisherman village. The owner Juan is very attentive and knowledgeable, he can provide you with valuable information about the local attractions and tours...

The beach its certainly the best thing there, but be sure to bring aqua shoes (watershoes) or something like that because the sand is not average sand, it's made out of little rocks and shells, so it hurts a lot when you walk. Water shoes will also serve you when its low tide and you can go walk on the...

If you'd like a bit of time away from it all... no schedules, no buses, no traffic or noise, this place is perfect. With the beach literally on your doorstep, a very nice open area with coconut palms, a small pool, hammocks (and Wifi in case disconnecting has it's limits), and comfortable rooms, it's no wonder that people come for...

Casa Garrobo in Los Cobanos is a quaint little guesthouse situated right on the beach. To get there was kind of tricky, I traveled to Los Cobanos with a group of friends, we took public transit from Sonsonate and directions that I got online for Casa Garrobo said to get off the bus at the last stop and from there...

Stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the chillout time. Walk out onto your own deserted beach, sit in the waves, relax in the pool or in a hammock! A kitchen to use, though the amazing fish and shrimp dinners at the local fishermans' shacks negate the need for a kitchen for dinner! Not much in the way of groceries...

Casa Garrobo is the perfect place to disconnect from the world. The dorm is spacious with comfy beds and there´s a comunal kitchen. The terrace has couches and hammocks to nap or read. The hostel is directly located at the beach so you can just go for a swim whenever you want. Really loved to stay here and enjoyed the...

Stayed there several times and I can´t recognize that Casa Garrobo "needs a new manager and a good cleaning" and april isn´t the seson for moskitos!!!. The manager, Choco, is kindly and helpfull, the house - include the rooms and the kitchen is clean, but of course you´ll find sand at the floor as you are at the beach! At...

Stayed here two nights. When I took a look at the room, I noticed stains on the sheets that look suspiciously like blood, but the sheets seemed freshly laundered and smelled OK. Found out that night that the room was infested with mosquitoes, and I added a bit of blood to those sheets. The tile floor in the shower in...
