Set alone upon a beautiful endless beach with only seven enormous well equipped sea facing thatched cottages. No TV and hit and miss WiFi, though that's seems to be the point. The airy rooms so designed that the two fans unecessary during our stay.Though each evenings the rooms were sprayed and elaborate mosquito nets provided we noticed very few mosquitoes....

Went on a 5 day trip with African Traits tour company, run by an excellent guide, Godfrey Willy with our second stop at Pangani. This place is amazing! We started in Arusha, drove up to Lushoto in Usambara Mountains (also incredible), and we were in awe when we saw this beach side lodge. We were greeting with cold fresh coconuts...

This was such a fun experience for us....from being greeting with fresh coconut water, to the creative setting- it was like nothing we've ever been to. It's right on the ocean and you can see and hear the ocean from your rooms! It has a fun African flare to the decor and it's all very open and it feels like...

We stayed at Ushongo Emayani beach lodge 2 nights. It was an adventure to get there by car, the road from Muheza to Pangani was in a bad condition, lots of villages blocking the road and asking for money on the way (we did not give anything), then we had a long wait to get the ferry from Pangani. When...
