Location, location, location. This place is one of only two places in the northern part of the park where there are large animals. This means you don't have to cross the river (9 USD each way) to do the rides early in the morning (first crossing is at 6am, last at 7 pm every 2 hours more or less). This...

We arrive just to reach dinner, and in the Landcruiser at 06.00 next morning, so it was to much pay for a good night sleep. The lodge will be perfect for a couple of days, say a week, and use the time to relaxe and take some safaris and cruise The Nile, The lodge seemed fantastic, although we couldn't seen...

I loved Murchison Falls National Park and this was the perfect place to stay. Great food, friendly staff, very good rooms and perfect location. I hope I get the chance to return here for longer than the two nights I stayed on this occasion. Perfect.

Came to do two days Safari by myself. Stayed for 1 night. Arrived in the evening so didn't have time to see the pool. Dinner was ok. Sat outside on the terrace. Room was great. Big and clean. Water was hot and with good pressure. I took a room with AC which was very convenient. The hotel is on the...

Paara sits on a bluff looking over the Nile River in the midst of Murchison Falls Park. It would be normal to see hippo, elephants, bush pigs and more on or near the lodge property. Paara is a most enjoyable and relaxing spot in one of the most scenic locations in the world.

We spent 2 nights in Paraa Safari Lodge (my husband and I and my brother) and we were so happy with this lodge. The lodge is beautiful and charming and although it is a larger lodge, it does not lose its character and charm. All of the meals were really delicious, the pool area is beautiful and we were very...

The hotel is situated beautifully overlooking the Nile river. From the hotel it is just 700m from the point you take the cruise to see the Falls, Crocodiles and Hippos. It is also very close to the gametracks in Murchinsson Falls. We arrived on a saturday afternoon. And was pleasantly surprised by a huge BBQ, with Ugandan entertainment. The food...

The setting is simply amazing and this alone should be enough to convince you to stay in this lodge. Staff is very helpful and nice. The premise has its small setbacks; a rather whimsical WiFi which is only available in the lobby and water leaks in the bathroom (we had two rooms and both came with the same issue!). Buffet...

We set off from Kasese at 5am and I'm glad we did. My friends told me it would be a 6 hour drive, but it took 11 hours and an epic journey. Next time I'd drive to Kampala and then to Paraa and not got via Hoima. 150km off road was a little too much, especially given the rains and...
