The location is absolutely superb. We stayed in the deluxe tents overlooking the river, which hosts lots of hippos. Beautiful sunsets and views, wonderful bird life. The staff were very nice, and the food was very enjoyable.
It’s clear that the location at the mile makes it a place you simply wouldn’t want to be missing on your trip in the park.
The hotel is at the Nile and Rhinos climb up to your room. Be carefull!

Had a 2 days stay at Chobe Lodge in Uganda - phantastic scenery over river Nile; hippos and crocs coming out of water; a lot of birds, right outside of the lodge we found many giraffes - its simply so beautiful. Service very good.

I just got back from a second trip to Uganda. Their is a landing strip and you can fly directly there. Of course getting a driver is cheaper but it will take about 5 hours or more depending on traffic leaving Kampala. We had friends that are Ugandan set up our driver and I don't have his contact. The drivers will stay at chobe for a minimal amount and will also take you to Gulu for a reasonable amount and that drive is less than two hours. We had an amazing safari in June and I love that place. Recommend the tents next to the Nile so you get the full experience. Enjoy and be safe!
