Helge and Anoma have truly made the Nor Lanka a home away from home. Set amongst well manicured grounds and a short walk from the beach, it is an oasis in the jungle. The owners and their staff exemplify what is most important to Sri Lankan's, family and friends. The restaurant provides excellent food and an atmosphere that encourages interaction...

I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough. A stones throw from the beach, but set in peaceful and tranquil surroundings with lounge areas, book swaps, water features all adding to the chilled out ambiance. The rooms are clean and well maintained, the breakfast excellent and service from all staff exceptional. It is worth staying to eat in the restaurant in...

In...

Norlanka is a very nice family driven hotel with 12 nice, clean rooms for double occupancy. Service from Anoma and Helge and their staff is excellent. Food is great and appetite is sharpened after 6 o'clock morning walks in nice local surroundings including jungle paths. Been here one week, would like to come back soon.

Stayed in Norlanka in June-July for 3 weeks. This is by far the most family friendly hotel i have ever been in. Everyone from the owner to the staff is so friendly and helpful to the adults, and the children. I strongly recomend Norlanka to everyone who wants to be in a family friendly and quiet hotel close to the beaches.
