This place was an amazing find! It is a bit off of the beaten path, but certainly worth it. I loved the thatched roof cottages and the hospitality was great!! The pool was perfect with a beautiful water flow design and the food was great. I loved the energy here!

The resort is as pictured - beautiful and peaceful. We had a great time. Used the boogie boards in the ocean. We ate exclusively at the restaurant and found the portions large, the food fresh, and generally, extremely well prepared. Loved the ceviche, the guacamole, and the beans and rice with breakfast. Be forewarned of the resort pets - large...

My Friend and I decided to play things by ear on our Costa Rica trip, leaving part of out vacation without being planned. I came across this spot on a website and was taken by it. Upon arriving, the pictures don't do justice to this gem and paradise we found. The rooms are cabins or bungalow style, with only one...

Ok. I have a recurring dream about a remote place near a perfect dark sand beach, with amazing flawless weather, pounding surf, an endless expanse of unlittered beach where I walk barefoot, and where I don't meet another human being. I stay in a small, cool, mosquito-less cabin made of bamboo, with a palm frond roof, a stone cool shower....

It was so good we stayed an extra night. Clandestino is tucked away down a long beach front that feels like a private beach like no other. It's sand goes on for miles, literally, and on the other side mangroves line the river. So it means you get a great mix of wildlife we saw around the premises; monkeys, crabs,...

Beautiful place to escape the hectic of the central valley. Be aware if you go there your main concern must be relaxing as the place is really in the middle of nowhere. If you like quiet beaches and a nice pool, this the place to go! Although at sea level I did not find the atmosphere to be too humid,...

Took a short flight from capital with NaturAir (20 min flight) and took a cab from the tiny airport. You need cash to get out of airport, btw "tax". Asked the driver to make a stop by an ATM and a supermarket to stock up on some goodies. The hotel is secluded, no shops or bars around. Anyway, it was...

This place is amazing and that starts at the parkinglot where we were being welcomed by our name. Checking in was friendly and with a cocktail that made us feel very welcome. Than they brought us to our room. Calling it a room is selling it short; it was beautiful, stylish and had everything we could ask for. The view...

Had a bit of turbulence getting there, but once we arrived we were so happy to be staying there! The staff were extremely accommodating and the resort was quaint but amazing! The beach is right across from the resort, making it a perfect location. It was set away from the small city of Quepos, but close enough to go there...
