Like weather anywhere, it varies from day to day, but in CR the weather is very consistent. June is rainy season, but the rain is warm, don't let it stop you from doing things. Usually a little rain every day but you will also get lots of sun.
Shuttles from LIR and SJO are available. You can contact the hotel directly - or - look/search on facebook. Lots of businesses in CR do not have websites, but they have facebook pages.
CURU parque nacional is very close, it makes a great day trip. There is an admission charge. Isla Tortuga is an awesome trip, it can include snorkelling. Lots of choices to get there. The beach is maybe 4 km so lots of exploring. And of course there are the grounds themselves, pool, bars, food, etc.
The rooms have A/C.
If you get close to Paquera, be sure to stop at Restarante Liz Seafood Macho (long name - fantastic seafood)
