This was one of my favorite hostels in Costa Rica because of the other people who stayed there. There was such a mix of cultures and the living room there is perfect for meeting new people. It was such a fun place and the employees are very fun and welcoming as well. Strongly recommend!

This hostel was quiet and kind of empty when I was there (low season). But the staff was super helpful! They helped me figure out my plans, suggesting stuff to do, and when I decided to do a white water rafting that required I leave to San Jose a night earlier they gave me the money back for the night...

I had some cool conversations with the owner and wife and learn some things about Costa Rica. If I ever...

Alonso the owner is very helpful and informative about tours and transport. The 6-bed dorm I stayed in had 2 private bathrooms. The hostel was very clean and had a great breakfast. It's also located next to a big supermarket.

The staff is really friendly and helps you with everything you may need (such as take out food), there is nice free breakfast and the showers... just the best shower you'll have in your life. There is a small common room with cosy couches that make it easy to meet new people. The...

I stayed here for 2 nights with 6 friends. Alonso (the manager) was incredibly accommodating, as soon as we booked he sent us detailed instructions of how long our journey would take, where to go when we arrive, numbers to call in case of emergencies etc. On arrival we were provided with great information and tours, what I really liked...
