We stayed in a single room. Clean, cozy accommodations. The owner and his dog Bob are what makes this place unique. He went out of his way to help us with whatever we needed. Breakfast was provided in the morning. The walls are not sound proof, however, the quiet hours are enforced and we weren't bothered by noise.

Just a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere here. Great location close to downtown Santa Elena. Hot showers and fresh breakfasts were just a bonus on top of the cozy rooms, relaxing hammocks and excellent ownership. Next time we're in CostaRica we'll make it a point to revisit this fine place!

We LOVED this place. Stayed in dorms and in private rooms and both are amazing. Everyone is so friendly and atmosphere caters to meeting people and making friends. You can book your tours from the hostel, a kitchen is available and the super market is a 30 second walk away which is so helpful because all the restaurants were fairly...

I spend there only one night but I would really recommend it to everyone. Staff was really nice and helpful. It was clean and cozy. Lots of people from all over the world. its super close to a store and a cure little vegeterian restaurant. I would definitely stay there again.

lots of nice people from all over the world were staying here during our 2 night stay. buses from any tour will pick you up and drop you off right at the hostel entrance. 2 or 3 hammocks set out out back with a small table to have a quiet dinner, or some evening drinks. beautiful town with great food....

Perfect location, low cost. the desk is so helpful and books all of your tours, shuttles, takes care of everything you need. Stayed in a private room with our own bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. They provide eggs and breakfast in the morning that you can cook yourself, we just had some fruit and toast. Highly recommend for backpackers.

Staying here was great! My friend and I stayed two nights and we are really thankful to Alonso. We missed our bus to Monteverde and Alonso stayed in contact with us to help us get the the hostel. The breakfast was great, the decor is lovely, and what I loved the most was how eco - friendly it all was....

My sister and I stayed one night due to them being booked for the rest of our stay. The vibe there was very friendly and welcoming which I very much enjoyed. Alonso was great!! He was incredibly helpful even after we left that next morning! The shower, oh the shower, hot water and lots of pressure, that's all I have...

I stayed here for 2 nights. One of the cheapest options in town. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He helped set me up with excursions (he wasn't pushy for me to book things through the hostel) and public transportation to MalPais. The only negative thing about the place is that the room closest to the reception didn't have...

I stayed here only one night because they were fully booked for the following one. The rooms and hostel are nice and they give you free breakfast. Location is good although Santa Elena is a very small town so wherever you are staying you'll be central. They offer you tours that you can book and it's very close to a...
