Excellent service with clean rooms. They ensure you have good activities planned and they are accommodating for any changes in your travel plans. I got the regular room. They have manual locks. They have 5 parking spots. They give you two towels. Soap from wall dispensers. Water heater sometimes leads to cold showers. Modest but fresh breakfast. Only two outlets...

Jose and Erney were very personable hosts of this B & B. Gave us a good room, helped with tours and restaurants and breakfast was great. Communication with them was easy. Would definitely stay there again. Val and Jack

Lovely B&B near the centre of town. Clean rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Perhaps ventilation of the bedrooms could be improved upon, as they were very small and close. Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside from the terrace.Breakfast was delicious and included in the hotel price. Free coffee and tea all day long. We would definitely stay there again.

Camino Verde was the perfect place to stay in Monteverde. Jose was so friendly and helped us book all of our tours and excursions. He made it so easy for us. The rooms were clean, the common area was great for hanging out and the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend.

My boys and I stayed here last weekend at the tail end of our Costa Rica trip. We really liked it. The staff was great and willing to help book any excursion. The location is really convenient - maybe a 5 minute walk to downtown. Breakfast each morning was delicious and my kids (12, 13) loved that the wifi at...

Stayed here for 4 nights in March/April 2017. We had a quadruple room - double and two bunks with en-suite bathroom. Room and bathroom were very clean. Our only complaints and the reason we only gave 4 stars would be that the room was very cramped with no space to unpack suitcases and store things and the top bunk, which...

The staff was very friendly and always willing to help book an excursion or give advice. Nice room and great location, about a 5 minute easy walk to town! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone coming to the area.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Camino Verde B&B is a "Bed and Breakfast" style lodging opened in 2009 and located on the edge of Santa Elena. The B&B is laid out in the style of a family house and guests are encouraged to treat it as their home. The building was in fact once the owner's family home which gave inspiration to this 'Tica House' designed hotel. The B&B is situated a 5 minute walk from the town centre of Santa Elena, but is far enough away for it to be quiet and have more rural surroundings. This is the perfect option for those who crave the quiet side of the countryside but who require the amenities provided in a town. FACILITIES: Camino Verde B&B comprises private rooms which sleep 2 to 4 guests. Four of the rooms have shared bathroom facilities and the rest are en suite. ... more   less
