Spent 4 days at the wonderful Podere Alberese. Lucia, Antonietta were the perfect hosts and we really enjoyed picking the grapes at harvest time and learning about their beautiful organic wine with the best wine tasting by Antonietta who is inspiring and passionate about all things! A true pleasure and will definitey NOT make it "sailor's promise" and come back...

Loved this place and everyone so good. Lucia was great and organised a taxi for us. Her mother was lovely and always made a time for a chat. It is very secluded and you would definitely need a car if you want to get out and about. Lovely apartment but lots of wasps due to grape vines.

We spent 8 nights in June and it was by far the highlight of our Italian vacation. Lucia, Antonietta and the gang were fantastic hosts and we could not have felt more welcome. The breakfasts were great and the relaxing atmosphere was exactly what we came for. The fun cooking class was an unexpected bonus and I wish we could...

This was our third year of staying at the Podere Alberese in Tuscany and we loved it just as much as the first time. In fact, as I said to the owner when we left, each time we come I feel like it is our home in Tuscany. The accommodations are in an old farm building made of stone and...

The setting is delightful, in the southern part of Tuscany, approximately 50km South east of Siena, on the side of the hill with stunning views to the south, set amongst vineyards and olive groves. The main accommodation building is several hundred years old and retains its charm but the rooms are comfortable and well appointed with ensuite bathroom. We had...

As for the B&B part I don't know as we did not stay there, however if the service is anything to go by that we received from the owner and the wine makers during our wine tasting excursion then ten out of ten plus two!!! These guys are truly making you feel welcome, going out of their way for the...

Great place just right how you would imagine it, with old stone walls, hilly surroundings etc. The flat we stayed in was very big and nice. The family is very friendly, and speak very good english. Also possible to drink their own wine and hear a lot about the area, overall can highly recommend.

Many thanks to Lucia and her family for a wonderful stay on their farm. We only had two nights, but would have loved to stay longer. The wine, the wine - beautiful. Our apartment was lovely and we got some great advice on places to visit nearby. Will tell our friends about this wonderful place

We stayed here for three nights as part of our road trip. We were hoping to just relax in the baking sunshine by the fantastic pool and watch the sunset from the beautiful chill-out area - but the weather and host Antoinette had other ideas! It was a bit like discovering a long-lost Italian relative - so friendly and full...
