My family and I stayed here for almost a week on a recent trip to Pienza. When we checked in we were shown to a room on the top floor - bit of a hike up the steps but no problem for us. The room was very comfortable, with bedroom, sofa bed for our young daughter and roomy kitchen with...

Loved our quaint rooms and the kitchen area was perfect for al 6 of us to gather for breakfast! Our host was so polite and brought our breakfast each morning! The hotel was so beautifully located in the center of the village and we were able to walk to shop and eat. Perfect!

Il Giglio offers lovely accommodation in an historical building in the very heart of Pienza. Rooms are big and clean, beds are comfy and furniture totally in line with the style of the building. Free wi-fi is as always a plus and it was working perfectly even with multiple simultaneuos accesses. Our bathroom was relatively small and not ‘shiny brand...

We travelled to Pienza for a family wedding last weekend. I'd contacted Il Giglio direct and been told no need to leave a deposit, ring when you get here. What a find it was. And our host, Roberta, was fantastic. A charming place, tucked in the heart of Pienza and a lovely warm greeting. We will definitely go back. Roberta's...

Only a few rooms, but very nice rooms, complete with a refrigerator, Wi-Fi, nice ensuite bathroom, and a comfortable bed. We...

We've always wanted to spend a day in Pienza, Italy, and this trip we decided to do it. I chose Il Gigglio for the value. I turned out to be pretty much what I expected. Located in the old city of Piienza, all the buildings here are from the Renaissance. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The staff was...

Pretty and very clean B&B on a small alley in old town Pienza which was our base in southern Tuscany. The location was perfect to visit other towns and very quiet at night. There is a small parking lot right next to the B&B which has 30 minutes limit but you can find plenty of parking places near by after...

The house is in the historical center of Pienza, and free parking is about 200 meters away, it is not insignificant in a small country with limited parking for cars! The rooms are comfortable and decorated in Tuscan style, a (very) little kitchen area comes complete:Note: the equipment of the kitchen depends on the type of apartment chosen! The owner...

Our apartment was on the 3rd floor (4th level) of a building with no lift (there are other apartments/rooms in the building on lower levels). There is a large kitchen/living room, a bedroom and bathroom. Kitchen facilities are good for self-caterers but there is no clothes washer/dryer and no internet facility. The apartment is comfortable enough but if it is...

“Make sure your room is on a floor you can walk up to with your luggage. You have to ask and most people can do it fine, But if you have physical limitations check. Otherwise great accommodation.”
