We stayed here 2 nights on our 2 week trek through Tuscany. After reading the reviews it was the place we stayed that I was most concerned about, as we had a lot of luggage and the stairs did not excite me. I was also concerned about the language barrier. My fears were for naught. We were able to stay...

This was the worst three nights during our 2.5 week traveling in Italy! Check in was ok, even the host didn't speak any English. The B&B is a like a dorm - no kitchen, no living room and no common space at all. We were given an attic room with a tiny window (with a view). Half of the room...

My wife and I travelled to Pienza in April 2012 and stayed at Antica Locana. We could not have chosen a better place. We rented an apartment with a kitchen but also had the opportunity to view all the other rooms available. Every accomodation was different, comfortable, squeaky clean and welcoming. The location was perfect and we foud it hard...

When we asked locals in Tuscany "where should we go next?", people would say "Pienza" and then sigh. And so, we booked two nights in this hotel last minute on advice of TripAdvisor. Upon arrival - on a Saturday late afternoon, parking was difficult to find (note others have advised to be cautious of Pienza parking) and we learned we...

It took us a while to find the place. The owner was waiting for us on the street, to guide us to our room. We were so grateful for her help. It was quite a journey up the stairs to the room with the luggage. It was worth the struggle as the room was so very charming and well kept...

We stayed at Antica Locanda for 2 nights. When we arrived at the door step, the poster indicated to which house we must go to find someone to help us, but there were no one at the house. Then there was a number we had to call, which after a struggle to find a phone, we managed to contact the...

We stayed here for a week. The town is delightful. There are few hotels, so at night, after the tour busses leave, the town is yours and the locals. Right in between Montalcino and Montepulciano, this is a wine mavens perfect location. The room was on a third story walk up. There are no elevators. The room was a good...
