Cretaiole is simply an amazing place. 4 of us spent a week there in L'Ovile and Il Granaio (2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen/sitting area). The apartment was perfect - from the old stone sink in the kitchen to the fireplace which we used on a cold and rainy morning, to the comfortable beds and the best shower in all of...

I searched a long time to find the perfect quintessential Tuscan farmhouse. My husband and I went to Italy for our honeymoon and stayed at Cretaiole. Isabella was fantastic from the time I made my first inquiry. She's quick to respond and very helpful. We were greeted when we arrived at the farm and Carlotta was incredibly helpful. They'll book...

My 8-year old daughter and I loved every minute at Cretaiole! The entire Moricciani family and the lovely people who work with them are the heart and soul of the wonderful experience of staying on their property! Cretaiole was the wonderful culmination of our trip to Italy. It truly made our stay in Tuscany a total success. From our initial emails to Isabella (and all of her patient assistance) to the warm greeting from Carlotta upon our arrival, the olive oil tasting with Carlo, and to the heartfelt farewell from Luciano, the Moricciani family made us feel...

Carlo & Isabella, Luciano, and Carlotta are the excellent and warm hosts of this lovely place, the perfect base for exploring hill towns and wineries. Rooms are elegantly rustic, with very comfortable beds, fresh flowers, and a basket of goodies from the farm which included a bottle of wine, cheeses, eggs, meat, pasta, and jars of sauce. Everything you need...

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Cretaiole! The family and Carlotta were beyond hospitable and made our weeklong stay very memorable. Isabella greeted us as we arrived and showed us to our beautiful apartment, we stayed in "Il granaio". We highly recommend the room for a couple who also wants some extra space to relax and a kitchen to...

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Cretaiole was wonderful. Isabella, Carlo, Luciano and Carlotta made our stay just perfect - they went above and beyond in all respects, and had already thought of everything before we even wanted or needed it! A very relaxing week, but also with plenty of interesting things to see, do and taste. We can't wait to come back!

Cretaiole is the only way to experience Tuscany. It is such an authentic experience and the Moricciani family truly makes you feel like a part of their family. Staying at the farmhouse is an experience in itself- from making breakfast inside your Tuscan apartment with fresh vegetables picked from the garden, to evenings with Luciano, the heart and soul of...

Just an incredible experience. The entire family is your host and Carlotta helps you in every conceivable way. Everything they organize is perfect. You can partake of as much or as little as you want. Don't let the lack of air conditioning bother you; thick walls and ceiling fans make it just fine. The various activities will be memories we...

Cretaiole is a magical place. We arrived to the most beautiful, idyllic setting I have ever seen. There we met Carlotta who is very warm, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. We were to meet Carlo, and Luciano later that evening and Isabella arrived from a trip of her own on Thursday. They are all very welcoming and kind people and I...
