What a place ..so beautifully located ...and so well run . Everything is perfect and the hospitality is amazing. The rooms are beautifully appointed with lots of space , light and great linen and toilet amenities. The lobby and lounge are really very warm and welcoming. The open kitchen adds to the experience. The food is very good and the...

I booked La Bandita for a long weekend to celebrate my partner's 40th birthday along with 15 friends. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the owner John struck exactly the right balance between a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere and efficient order. The meals were all authentic and delicious, the surrounding countryside is stunning and the building itself is...

I loved staying at La Bandita. We rented the whole place out for a friends 30th. Great accommodation, amazing food, beautiful scenery, amazing hosts! So close to all of the great tourist attractions that Tuscany has to offer, but far enough away to enjoy the solace of the area.

this place is one of a kind and ticks EVERY box if you are looking for the best views, food, staff, and tranquillity in Tuscany. In the most stunning setting (360 degree views of Tuscan hills, with sheep and wildlife only), it is right off the beaten track (literally a 10 minute drive up unmade road, which we did in...

We spent 4 nights here after our wedding in Venice. It was absolutely perfect in every way, as a do nothing destination, quiet tranquil days around the pool followed by interesting evenings sharing beautiful food with other guests, swapping stories and experiences over communal dinners, continuing onto the fire-pit for late night chats. The communal 'vibe' differentiates this boutique hotel...

We reached La Bandita after a leisurely two hour drive through the Tuscan countryside from Florence. The property is stunning - amazing views all around and extremely well appointed rooms. There is a large living/dining space with the owner's collection of games, books and LPs. The property is far enough to be cut off but yet close enough to explore the...

My wife and I drove up the rocky road through winding cypress trees, a road originally built by the Romans, and finally crested the hill -- and saw the most jaw-dropping view of the Val D'Orcia. We had arrived at La Bandita, a meticulously restored 400 year old farmhouse. Warmly welcomed by the owner John and his staff, we were...

Recently stayed two nights at La Bandita during a trip throughout Tuscany and Rome. The property is gorgeous. The area is absolutely amazing. Perfectly situated to Pienza which is a 20 min drive away and an easy--and beautiful--drive to nearby towns and villages. Paola arranged for us to visit both a farm and wine tasting at a vineyard in our...

Val d'Orcia is our favourite part of Italy and the setting of La Bandita Countryhouse is spectacular in a wonderfully tranquil setting surrounded by the most beautiful countryside. Location wise it's perfect with so many and varied places to visit and things to do. The property has all the external character of classic Tuscan buildings but with a really well...

Driving from Florence to visit the wine areas of Tuscany. Stayed over at La Bandita, which was situated on top of a hill which will give you a really nice view of the hills around Montelcino and Montepulcino. Truly breathtaking. Note : the drive up to La Bandita is rather "off-road" and on gravel tracks. So please choose a suitable...
