Fabulous spa after days of trekking. Staff was extremely curteous and accommodating. Various pools were energizing and relaxing. Very clean and large comfy rooms. Easy to maneuver from train station and a few restaurants in area if you decide not to eat in. Extremely happy!

I'm not sure how I feel about Bagni do Pisa. When I got there if felt kinda old and creepy. The front desk staff were super friendly and informative. We had the duke's suite with not much of a view but was ok. We had read some reviews about a loud bar near by but we didn't hear anything from...

Firstly we arrived into a car park and failed to find the reception due to lack of signage. We were grateful to be upgraded from a junior suite prestige to a junior suite deluxe as we then got a view of outside the building. We waited in our room for our 'spa package' to be delivered (towel, robe and slippers)...

Stayed for 5 nights, the rooms were not ready when it should have been and they took longer than the receptionist said they would, we had 2 luxury rooms, one was fine the second was much smaller and pokey. The facilities were great with all the various pools available to guests. The staff were very helpful and arranged taxi's etc...

We were looking for quality hotel near Pisa and believed that LHW stands for quality hotel. The hotel is old and has old fashioned ambiance. And so are the upgrade room we got. The room has no full size mirror. So ladies beware, there is no way to dreads up and check yourself up. And forget about matching shoes to...

When we arrived at a lovely building with real character we had high hopes. We were welcomed well by reception. Our rooms were good although th flickering lights in the corridors were strange and annoying. We had a long drive and were really thirsty and hungry. We went to the restaurant for lunch and this is where our Medicare experience...

At first, Bagni di Pisa seems to be a perfect place to visit neighboring Pisa, to relax and enjoy the spa. Located just a few kilometers from the Leaning Tower of Pisa and its Duomo, the hotel is a former palace with a spa with natural water coming from the mountains. The staff was extremely welcoming and eager to help...

We booked for just one night on the way back from the Italian Riviera. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An elegant 5-star resort affiliated with "The Leading Small Hotels of the World," prestigious brand of the luxury hotellerie, completed by a large thermal Spa, with the brand "Leading Spa." Set amid the gentle hills of Tuscany and kissed by the scented winds of the Mediterranean sea, Bagni di Pisa Palace is a magnificent and sumptuous building of great historical value. Now lovingly restored to its original splendor, it was once owned by the Grand Duke of Tuscany and chosen by the European aristocracy as a place to spend their summer holidays. Dating back to the 18th century, the building is set in a beautiful park of olive trees and combines classical architecture with modern facilities. Accommodation ranges from well-designed comfort to elegant and spacious suites, which have separate living rooms, marble baths and original 18th-century frescoes. Groups visiting this luxurious hotel have access to modern meeting facilities, to a refined spa and thermal centre, as well as plenty of outdoor leisure activities in the natural surroundings. ... more   less
