Beautiful place quite and peaceful , enjoyed the beautiful beach which was always clean . The food was delicious and had a very wide selection from the buffet. The spa was one of the best . Will certainly be coming back as this place is the best for couples and the prices are reasonable.

I emailed the hotel a few weeks before our holiday date to request a top floor Seaview room, upon arrival we had exactly what we had asked for which was great. All the staff in the hotel were really accommodating and professional, we had excellent service. Unfortunately for us it rained 9 days out of our 10 holiday and we...

Dear Gloria, We thank you for choosing Sensimar Isla Cristina for your holidays and for sharing your experience with the online community and give us your feedback. Isla Cristina is a quiet area. Hope to see you soon again in the season, for sure the restaurants and bar will be opened. Best regards

We were looking for a bit of late summer sun and a relaxing break, we found virtually everything we wanted at The Isla Cristina Palace. Nice spacious room overlooking the pool and down to the beach. Hotel is fairly difficult to locate if you arrive in hire car as it is not well signed or obvious from the road, but...

The food is definitely not 5 star. Buffet breakfast and dinner. Hardly any meat except pork. Guests basically help themselves so food is out for hours and everybody using same serving spoons. Doesn't seem hygienic. A chef each night stands cooking morsels of meat while the guests wait to be served. No sign of beef whatsoever, mainly Schwein! The place...

There’s not much going on in Isla Cristina, and the area feels like a low-rent Spanish seaside town. Once inside the Sensimar Isla Cristina Palace & Spa, though, there’s no looking back at what’s outside. There’s a lot about the Isla Cristina Palace to warrant its 5★ rating (the complementary Cava on arrival was a positive first impression), but there’s...

Fantastic relaxing stay. Don't be put off by the dingy buildings on the way to Hotel and only go if you want to relax. There is absolutely nothing else to do but relax and enjoy the spotless pool and wonderful beach. Tui provide activities for their German guests which you can join in with (in German!) A week was long...

As we have decided to end up a 2 weeks trip to Andalucia and Algarve on the beach we have chosen Isla Cristina and Sensimar Isla Cristina Palace, where we have spent 5 days. Both choices were wrong. There is clearly nothing interesting in Isla Cristina and the good dining choices are limited - after first 3 tries we have...

So, hotel nr. 4 in our trip through Algarve and Costa de La Luz. Let's start by saying I know this place for many years, but never stayed there. I prefer the Barcelo, since it it closer to the city. Not a really cheap hotel, we all know that, the rooms were a bit dissapointing, staying in casa bela moura,...

It's too bad that the service was terrible, because the hotel and food were really quite nice. My newly wed wife and I were a young couple (myself being American and her Swiss) among an older class of couples who were mostly locals. Several of the service staff made my wife and I feel unwelcome, lacking smiles, and even sneering...
