To begin with, the first thing we want to highlight is the quality of the staff that works in that hotel (Omar and Ángel at the pool, Conso from the cafeteria downstairs, Maribel and Isabel as cleaners, buffet staff like Ricardo and Rafa, reception staff ( Verónica among them, we don't know more names) we even had the pleasure of having a massage with Verónica the chiromassage, leaving us delighted.)
We continue with the quality of the food; The buffet is not super wide and there may not be much variety at breakfast, but we liked it a lot at lunch and dinner and it changes every day. Furthermore, the quality seemed very good to us, with almost everything being homemade (or at least that was our feeling).
We really liked the room in terms of the quality of the bed and the cleanliness. In addition, the furniture is not outdated.
What we liked the least is the pool, quite small and when there are many people the water seems somewhat cloudy.
We found the location of the hotel to be very good, 10 minutes walk from the nearest beach and also very easy to park in its surroundings.
We were on the beach next door, in the mud baths, on Playa La Llana and in Cala Capitan (further towards Alicante).
I am sure that we will return to this hotel, we have been pleasantly surprised. There is a good quality price relation.

Fab room x complimentary water x breakfast was really good x great selection €10 but I think it was good value. Good coffee too. Room was spacious and very clean. Level 5 bar and rooftop pool was such a bonus x great views 10/15 min walk to the beach and main strip

Very friendly aparthotel
Had a kitchen, bedroom lounge bathroom diner terrace in the Bahia
We are self catering and had enough utensils for what you needed plus microwave, fridge freezer, hob, toaster Kettle iron and ironing board
Air con was great and we used it a lot
The restaurant had a great list of breakfast options on the first floor which had a lift, also a bar attached to the ground floor with friendly staff
Pool was on the top floor with a few sun loungers and a bar.
The lift to all floors was useful

Hotel staff are very friendly and a credit to the hotel ( American night porter in particular). Hotel foyer and corridors fine but rooms are dated and terraces (bearing in mind you pay extra) are shabby, ill equipped ( need parasol for shade and loungers for sun bathing). Also step on terrace back into room needs denoting in a different colour to avoid trip hazard. Safety glass between terraces smashed.
Breakfast is awful! Choice is limited, hot food is cold, waiter is miserable! Cold fried eggs floating in grease, only have coffee from a machine which is all pre-sugared. Breakfast room is a conference room with no view - not pleasant for a holiday.
Pool is small and should be referred to as a plunge pool.
It is a shame as I had high expectations.

We will start with the good, the location is not bad, considering that the 'village' is not very large, second one of the receptionists, I remember no name, very professional, the rest seems just taken out of school without desire and without professionalism. Old hotel, the last renovation the day they built it. Bed very bad as much as the pillow in his little bed... helped me get up with a good backache and constant cuts in sleep from the noise in the corridors...helps the endless children that hang around in the hotel. They must have agreements with rocks or schools why they didn't stop coming and going. The smaller fish than a hot tub we didn't try to get into, the 200 wild kids hoarded it. To top off the bad and scarce buffet food, definitely the worst I have ever eaten. Decide for yourself, but this is my opinion and I think quite right.

Booked this as a birthday present from my children, on arrival waited half hour for reception to appear despite ringing bell several times they only came when phone rang.

The hotel was deserted but we checked in and had to ask for the champagne, which we was told we was early (2.20pm) but they bought it up, no problem! Never received our water though.

Went out and had a lovely evening in lo pagan

Bed was very hard and pillow like sleeping on a brick, however the room it’s self was very nice but very hot, we tried to use the aircon to cook
It down but it wouldn’t work at all just blasted out hot air. The bonus of the jacuzzi bath was lovely and an amazing shower!

Breakfast was ok? The orange juice tasted weird and wasn’t orange juice colour? But choice of cold meats, cheese, fruits, yoghurt, breads plus hash browns bacon eggs etc but it’s had been there a while under lights, We was the only ones in the restaurant and whilst the food was ok it was like warm, we went at 8.30 so not sure what it would be like for people after.

The hotel offer a late check out for €19 which I requested and was refused despite as I said earlier there not being anyone in the hotel, we saw one other couple the whole time we was there! Baring in mind it’s the beginning of January so out of season so don’t know why they couldn’t do this. Yet I could of booked another night?

We only live one hour from hotel and love a break away so it’s a shame as I thought the place itself was very beautiful, maybe you could work on your staff and a few other points.

Good points-
Staff are all very helpful and friendly.
Pool is nice and refreshing.
Short walk to the beach.
Quite hotel.
Bed and pillows were excellent.
Room and wrap around balcony were hugh.

Bad points-
Maintenance issues.
Clothes wire to dry clothes on was against the red barrier so close rubbed up against it and turned red.
Balcony door didn’t close properly.
Outside table was falling apart.
Lighting in the room was poor.(needed my phone torch to see in the wardrobe)
Bathroom pull out mirror hanging off.
Cold water ran hot for a while.
Breakfast was ok but greasy.
All in all I don’t like complaining but had to mention our clothes and so we got an airer straight away but the other things were not fixed as it sounded like they aren’t doing any maintenance at the moment until they get new furniture. For the price we paid I expected more, they need to downgrade it a star and reduce the price a bit at least until they update it.

Very clean, welcoming atmosphere, good food and very attentive staff.
Fully recommended to enjoy the area.
It has a great top floor pool and almost always with few people. It is very close to Mar Menor, muds and beaches in the open sea.

I booked this as a one night pit stop but was very happy with it and would reccomend for a budget break in a vibrant spanish town near the Mar Menor.
Quick and easy check in ,great room, spotlessy clean and comfortable on a chilly night.
Didn't stay for breakfast but there are loads of cafes round and about this street side hotel.

We normally get a taxi from the airport which costs around 20€ from the airport but around 12€ from the hotel back. There is a local taxi rank lower down the road from the hotel. Journey time is approx. 10/15 minutes.
