We visited here on the night of 3october 2015. We were greeted by very helpful and friendly receptionist who took us personally to our double room. The room was well appointed, well decorated and very clean with a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the breakfast the next...

My wife and i stayed here for one night at short notice. Location of the hotel is ideal just a small walk to the town and riverside. The room was clean and bed very comfortable the room looked like it had been recently decorated. The only downside to our room was a main road at the back of the hotel...

Situated close to St Ives, this hotel is rather old fashioned. I was a bit stunned to be asked to pay up front when we arrived, without even seeing the room. We were at the end of very long corridors, and through a door to an outside corridor. The room was large - a family room with double and single...

I needed a bed for the night at short notice when I was visiting St Ives to clear out a relative's house. I wasn't expecting to spend much time in the hotel and location was my top priority. So I was really pleased to find this hotel in the same street! However, the best bit was finding such a welcoming...

I was very impressed with the helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff. The breakfasts were better than we anticipated and enjoying this meal in the sunroom enhanced the experience. Another plus was being on the fringe of the delightful village of St Ives - a few minutes walk away. We had no bad experiences whatsoever. We were pleasantly surprised...

Relaxing - welcoming - comfortable. Very reasonably priced. Friendly! Cannot give enough praise to Oliver's Lodge. On a limited budget I wanted somewhere that a) I had never been before b) appeared clean and comfortable c) was reasonably priced I happened upon Oliver's Lodge and booked a weekend for my partner and I to celebrate my 50th birthday. When we...

Stayed here for a weekend in July, booked it because it was a good price, the hotel is a nice distance from town about 5 mins, the hotel itself is a bit dated and looks like a work in progress if you expect a lot from your hotel room you won't be happy if you treat it has a bed...

The staff were very friendly, the room was fine but the road was busy so there was a lot of noise. Food was fine and and plenty of juices, tea and coffee at breakfast. Good reception for wifi all over the hotel.

Stayed here with friends the night before my best friends wedding so we could go out and have some food & drink and not have to stagger too far to get back. Pros: - Wonderful (!!!) manager & staff (definitely can't praise them enough, they were so so lovely) - SUPER comfy bed, lots of care has been taken with...

Have not stayed here but have eaten in the restaurant a few times. Went there last night for a family meal, we all thought the food was very good, staff were very friendly and efficient. Drinks were a very reasonable price with a good selection. Very nice experience
