Came here on a business trip and our hosts kindly assumed the costs so I'm not sure how much the room cost. It's a quaint thatched roof probably listed building that probably needs a bit of an up-grade but to be fair was still quite charming. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was ok but a bit...

A very nice restaurant in a great setting. Decor it very good and upmarket fittings. Food was very nice indeed although not the cheapest you will ever get was very well presented and beautifully cooked . So if you fancy a treat give it a try.

Stayed here on an overnight stop with a friend. Paid around £80 for B&B. Rooms well appointed and clean. Some of the furniture is ready to be replaced (worn chair back). King size bed and decent sized room. No real grumbles with the room. Restaurant area and bar had a nice open atmosphere and the food imc breakfast buffet were...

We visited this hotel for a wedding fair which we thoroughly enjoyed and so decided to stay for lunch. The place is lovely with a great atmosphere and great places to sit. However- the service was rubbish... Sat in the bar area to have lunch and ordered at the bar which was fine although there was never anybody behind the...

We have seen this hotel many times as we live relatively close but never been there before. It has a great out of town location if that is what you are looking for. Don't expect big city attractions but Southampton is within about 30 minutes drive and Winchester only 15 minutes away. It is within walking distance of a good...

Five of us came here for a business lunch today. We were greeted with a warm welcome and given a choice of tables including a comfy settee. We chose the normal table and four of us had fish and chips and the other chap had a burger. It wasn't quick in arriving but was lovely and well cooked. The chips...

Stayed in on of their top graded rooms, which was large with a very comfortable bed. It perhaps lacked a few refinements one might expect, for example there were no herbal tea options in the room, no room safe and an iron is available but only on request. This particular room also had a rather strange wardrobe formed from a...

Having had Sunday lunch here a couple of years ago and not wanted to return, I was more than a little anxious when one of my most important clients booked in and arranged dinner here. The service is 'ok' though the waiting staff do need to be more informed about the menu. Food arrived relatively promptly and I was pleasantly...

We were looking out for a venue for a birthday dinner - excellent starter and main course and one decent dessert. We weren't so impressed with a chocolate dish but this was nicely resolved. The service was first class and we are looking forward to going back.

We've been a few times recently for the evening which has always been good. Polite staff and a lovely bar with an open fire which is always welcoming. New Year's Eve when we stayed so saw the hotel rooms for the first time which are very modern and clean. Comfortable bed. Thank you for a great time.
