We stayed at this B&B recently whilst attending a party nearby. The rooms were nice and clean and the person who checked us in were friendly. However, when I got back to my room, I could hear music going in the function room, so loud that the floor was vibrating. Every time someone opened the door, the noise was louder....

A fantastic place. One night stop for business. A lovely welcome from a professional, happy person at the bar. Evening meal was fantastic and breakfast was as good as you could wish for and all freshly cooked to order. We will definitely be back.

Chose this hotel for a business trip and was delighted. Room was spacious and light. Furnishings were excellent quality and fixtures were quirky and original. Couldn't fault the food. Plenty of choice, generous portions. All staff were friendly and helpful. Will be staying again on my next business trip

Without a doubt this is a really great place for a carvery. They give you a plate but if you want to try everything they should give you a tray. A really good tasty carvery lots of choice. Im afraid we didnt try anything else on the menu but everyone agreed its really good value for money. We had four...

We've been going to The Down Inn for a couple of years now to support a friend's charity quizzes. Last Friday after a frantic day for us both at work, my husband phoned and booked a room so we could enjoy the evening with a glass or two of wine! The carvery is always superb, beautiful food. The bedroom and...

I am not a big fan of carveries because even though you get value for money, most miss out on taste! Not so here! The beef was cooked to perfection and such a wide choice of vegetable side dishes including the purple cabbage was just brilliant. I also just managed to squeeze in a delightful pudding! Fantastic Sunday afternoon, will...

Visited the Down Bridgnorth yesterday, 2nd Feb, with husband and our two friends for lunch. The food was excellent and the atmosphere great. The staff are so friendly, even laughing at my husbands daft jokes🤓. Very relaxed. We will be back.

Visited this Inn last week and had a very good carvery lunch. The food was excellent, it was piping hot and there was a good variety of veg and three choices of meat. We went with a coach party and there was a singer on after our lunch who was very good. The drinks were reasonably priced and the staff...
